Hero Siege

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357443758

Hero Siege brings you the loot with a legion of playable character classes, a procedurally generated world, over 1000 unique items, endless replayability, and a wide variety of dungeons and dangerous zones to explore!

Classes

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357424054

There are 22 total classes in-game but you can only play 8 with no DLC bought. Every class is unique and fun to play with and even with no DLC, you’ll spend a lot of time trying out all the free courses. Whether or not you want to Spin-2-Win on a Viking, play a Multishot Marksman, or even play Minion Necromancer you have a lot of options with the base game!

DLC/Microtransactions

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357431558

A lot of people ask if this game is “Pay-2-Win” or even why there are so many Microtransactions I am here to try and be as non-biased as possible and hopefully make people reading this understand. Yes, the classes are locked behind a DLC and the classes cost anywhere from $4.99 to $14.99. However, this game does do Steam Sales very often which means the game usually costs around $2 with no DLC. With the “Hero Siege Complete Bundle” that goes on sale for around $15 you will get as of writing this EVERY Class on top of Act 8 with an Extra Inventory Tab + Stash space. I will highly recommend waiting for a sale. This game has Skins/Seasonal Supporter Packs, none of them provide an advantage over another player and are just to support PAS Studios and look cool at the same time.

Game Information

Hero Siege is an Action Role-Playing Game made by Panic Art Studios the game came out on January 29th, 2014, and has gone through huge overhauls and improvements throughout the years that made it into a stellar ARPG today and continues to bring Seasonal Content and huge changes constantly.

Campaign

The Campaign offers 7 free Acts with the 8th one people a non-mandatory dlc. Every Act will have 5 zones each with the final one having a fun and challenging boss fight so you better be ready for it. The campaign has quests in each act offering different tasks and rewards to help you on your journey. Not going to spoil any of the bosses or anything but it’s a fun first playthrough.

Difficulty’s

When you first complete your campaign on “Normal” Mode you’ll have unlocked “Nightmare” which you will go through the Acts but even harder and more challenging than before, you’ll make your way through that and tackle “Hell” difficulty eventually bringing upto “Hell 5” where you’ll fight the most challenging version of the game with more loot as well!

Loot/Items/Etc

Of course, this can’t be an ARPG without loot! You’ll find a lot of it and maybe you’ll find the rarest of loot when you reach Hell. This game offers a ton of Unique and fun items to try out and hopefully, you can acquire. If you have not played Diablo 2 before this game offers “Runewords” and “Charms” These are very similar but if you have not played Diablo 2, you’ll drop “Runes” now and again which if you put certain ones into a White/Grey socketed item in the correct order it will turn into another powerful item. Charms are these good charms that used to go into your inventory to work but with a recent update, we have a separate inventory to put our charms. These charms offer some nice bonuses when you get them as loot and all you have to do is socket them in that special inventory!

In-Game Journal

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357440646

If you hit “Escape” while in-game and go to the “Book” this is kinda like your Mini-Guide type of thing you can see all the Runewords, Crafting Recipes, Jewel Crafting, Mining Prospecting Rates/Recipes. All the special items you can loot, and augments. This will be an area you go to a bit to find items you’d want for your character and how to craft certain things you will need on your adventure.

Loot Filter/Highlight Filter

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357441547

As with most ARPGs, this one offers Loot Filters to hide items you don’t need and are worthless at certain points of the game, don’t need stuff cluttering up your screen when you can just hide it. The game also offers built-in filters for certain levels of the game when you get far enough which is a huge help and should be used at all times. As for the highlight filters, this will “Highlight” an item blue-ish for the stats you're looking for. For Example, if you're playing an Arcane Caster you would highlight Arcane Damage, and if you drop that stat on an item it will show up! As simple as that!

Conclusion/Thoughts

I’ve just scratched the surface of this game in the review and there is a lot more to this game to discover and have fun with, don’t have the “Mixed” reviews bring you down on it. If you're an avid ARPG fan you will love this game PAS Studio listens to feedback and does an amazing job interacting and having fun with the community as a whole the Discord they have is always a good time and we hope you join! I genuinely enjoy this game as an ARPG.

Yet Another Zombie Survivors

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100154067

The Horde is coming but you're ready to fight it! Assemble your team and decide upon their enhancements to find the most efficient synergies against thousands of the undead. Survive. Then evolve. Then break all the limits in this deceivingly simple but addictive reverse bullet hell.

Gameplay

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100156357

When you first start off on this game, you’ll have the option to choose a “Team Leader” or a character you’ll start your run off with, each with its own pros and cons. The gameplay itself is very similar to other “Survivor-Like Games” as in you go into the game very chill and slowly stuff gets more hectic and you’ll have more upgrades and whatnot while you progress and try to survive all the way through. However, the one thing that’s different is every few minutes supply drops will come down and you can choose to either gain a level or add another Survivor to your team like the ones on the Play-Screen. You can have up to 3 in total and after that, the crates will just reward a level-up.

Permanent Upgrades

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100161362

As with other Survivors after you finish a run you’ll have Permanent Upgrades! Things that will make your next run a bit easier if you were struggling before. As you see in the picture above it’s a Skill Tree however if you grind and play enough you’ll be able to unlock everything on this tree eventually! So don’t worry about it too much and you’ll also be able to re-spec the tree whenever you like! A few things on this tree you can get are Upgrades like “Survivors Run Faster” or “Increased Reload Speed”.

Survivor Upgrades

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100163053

This game has more than just a Skill Tree to make your next run even easier if you need a little more help! As you can see which-ever Team-Leader you pick for your run you need a certain amount of kills to get your next Weapon Upgrade! These weapons are very powerful and essentially it’s like a Weapon Evolution so when you play once you fully level up your Weapon you’ll have an option next level to turn it into 2 options. For example, the “SWAT” has an option for “Assault Weapon” or “Sniper” with each their own pros/cons.

Characters

As of making this Review for the game, there are currently 6 Playable/Unlockable Characters with Weapon Unlockables so a lot to work towards and try out! These are the currently available Characters! SWAT, Tank, Engineer, Huntress, Ghost, and Medic

Achievements

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100168513

Usually, I don’t cover Achievements that much, however, they are useful to unlock as they give you unlocks for items/weapons/modes. There are 70 Achievements as of writing this Review not all the Achievements unlock something but a good chunk does, so I suggest unlocking them if you want all content in the game or if you are an Achievement Hunter.

Conclusion/Thoughts

Yet Another Zombie Survivors, is definitely in my top Survivors-Like game and I highly suggest giving it a shot! It is very fun and enjoyable and has much to grind for to fully unlock everything. The Awesome Games Studio communicates with the Community loves hearing feedback for their game and does frequent hot-fixes and updates so feel free to join their socials and chat with other people who also enjoy playing this game! I’m hoping to see more Characters/Maps to open up the variety of stuff to do. Hopefully, this review has helped you decide if you wish to play this game and all I can say is I will always support this game and I am having a blast playing it! Keep it up Awesome Games Studio!

Vampire Survivors

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2798611996

Vampire Survivors is a Single-Player 2D Action Rogue-Like game where you survive waves of monsters. Your goal is to survive as long as possible before death comes to you. The game is a major bullet hell with effects and everything flying around later in the game.

Gameplay

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2798619051

Starting off you can play only a few Characters, eventually unlocking more with the Coins you earn while playing. You will start into your first map at level one with only 1 weapon depending on the Character you decided to play. Waves of enemies will come and try to kill you while sometimes dropping EXP to level you up. Once you level up you will have a few choices of options of new Weapons or Passive Items you can choose 1 of them. Every few minutes a boss enemy will spawn which will usually drop a chest or a better EXP Gem. The chest has a chance to be 1, 3, or 5 items if you’re lucky enough, which is also used to evolve weapons this chest will normally just level up your current weapons.

Evolution

Evolution is a mechanic you can do when you can combine a Weapon and a Passive item together to make a stronger weapon out of it, without spoiling too much to Evolve the “Whip” you need the Passive Item “Hollow Heart” however you need to get a max level “Whip” first before it can Evolve. Once you got a max level “Whip” you need to kill one of those Bosses that spawn every few minutes and open the Chest which will Evolve your Weapon into a greater weapon. I mentioned earlier you need a Weapon + Passive but there are a few cases you can evolve 2 Weapons together.

PowerUps

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2798624447

After you finish your first Vampire Survivors run you’ll get coins, you can spend these coins in the “Power Up” section of the Main Menu (or buy a new character) and make you're next run a little bit easier. There is a bunch of PowerUps you can decide to get that will enhance your gameplay and maybe you’ll end up beating your first run.

Characters

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2798631831

Currently, as of making this review, there are 22 Characters you can currently play. Each character has its own ups and sometimes downsides, they start with a different starting weapon with certain stats like decreased cooldown, or increased movement speed. To unlock characters you either have to find them or unlock them through certain means. After that when you go to start a game you will see the blacked-out character that you can purchase with coins. All the characters are fun to play with their own builds you can try out that benefit them.

Conclusion/Thoughts

At the time of this review, this game get’s constant and amazing updates the game creator is amazing and I suggest you buy this game and support it! This game has a pretty large player base and it’s a very fun and chill game to play too. I personally feel like this game is way too good for the price it is at right now and should be increased. If you like rogue-like, bullet hells this is the game for you! Hoping to see this game grow and improve over the next few years and can’t wait to see what’s to come.

Chronicon

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2519967891

Chronicon is a Single Player/Couch Co-op Action-RPG, much like Diablo. The game has 4 classes: Templar, Berserker, Warden, and Warlock. Each class has 3 separate subclasses/skill-trees with its own special playstyle and skills you can play with and enjoy, each class has a different playstyle which makes you want to try out every class and make an amazing build. There are 5 different difficulties that you'll end up increasing the higher level you are in the game.

Gameplay

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2519964150

The gameplay varies depending on which class you play, whether you play a melee class or a range class. For my playthrough, I played a Warlock while leveling through the acts I played in the “Corruptor” tree. The game starts at a slower pace in the early game, much like starting fresh in Diablo but slowly ramps up to a faster pace the farther you end up getting in the game, making you feel like you're getting much more powerful, going along through all the acts. I will mention that a lot of stuff and projectiles will happen on your screen like explosions and everything else. A lot of eye candy if you like that sort of thing. A lot was going on when I was fighting in the open area’s at-least when I was playing Warlock. Overall I really enjoyed going through the game and the gameplay felt amazing to me and I suggest you try it out yourself if what I said piques your interest.

Enchanting

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2519979264

Enchanting is this games “Crafting” system and I personally find it to be the best in any ARPG I’ve played yet, it’s very deterministic and very fun to use, it costs “Crystals” (in-game money) and “Essence” which you’ll collect while playing the game. If you want to keep a roll on your item, you can “Augment” it and keep it while re-rolling the rest of the gear. It's an amazing system and I hope other games can learn from it. You can also re-roll the values/rolls on an item so if you got a low roll of like 10% Fire Resistance you can choose to re-roll and hope to get it to like 15% Fire Resistance.

Gems & Socketing

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2519982483

You’ll get gem’s while you're playing Chronicon. There are 7 different color gem’s while there are 3 different shapes of gem’s Cube/Sphere/Star. Each gem gives different bonuses with higher tier gems, in which you can combine 5 of the lower tier gems for 1 of the higher tier. The gem also does different things depending on where you socket it like the Weapon/Jewellery/Armor, if you got no sockets on your gear you can “Roll New Sockets” for a cost and get sockets on your gear.

Loot Filter/Auto-Loot

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2519985719

The Loot Filter in Chronicon is amazing, straightforward. I'm really happy about it. You can select what you want it to show while also automatically deleting the items from the ground you don’t want to see. You also have an option to automatically pick up the items on your filter which to me is something I’ve never really seen before in an ARPG and I give it massive props for doing something like this. Although there is a Loot Radius which you can toggle to see how far you can loot an item, this can be increased with items in-game to increase it if you wish.

Transmutation

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2545994799

Transmutation is a very nice feature of the game and I really enjoy it. Here’s an example that is one of my favorites out of all of them, “Level up Item”, this lets you take one of your old gear pieces that’s under-leveled and transmute it to a higher level. Essentially this means you can still use your old gear if for say you got a set-piece you still want to use. You can also convert set pieces so if you got a set-piece you don’t need, convert it!

Endgame

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2546376756

Chronicon has an end-game after you finish the 5 Acts, these are called “Anomalies”. Depending on your strength, you can run anywhere from the traditional difficulties you played with during the acts, to a new difficulty from Mythic I to Mythic XV. The harder the Anomaly the better rewards you can get from fighting them. Inside the Anomaly is a random map which you run killing loads of enemies.

Conclusion/Thoughts

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2546380918

I highly suggest this game, if you're a huge fan of ARPG’s/Couch-Co-Op/Hack n Slash this game is 100% for you! It was really fun to play through and I will definitely be playing it more. Never encountered a bug/crash or issue with this game which is always a plus. The only thing this game is lacking for me is the Multiplayer. I would love to hop on this game with friends through multiplayer and blast away at this game. Overall though, it was an amazing game and I’m glad to have played it! I give this game a solid 9/10.

Early Access Review
Summary
Valheim is an Open-World Survival Game, with an option of having to play with friends through a server. The worlds are procedurally generated that are massive, with tons to explore. This game even though in Early Access has a lot you can currently do and explore. The combat is pretty good, dodging/rolling and blocking with a shield/weapon. Depending on playstyle you can use a one-handed weapon with a shield or be a full brute with 2-hander. However some AI is a little buggy unless they are supposed to be like that some would run away or run around me and do it over and over. You can build your own house/boat and do as you please, I think the building needs to be improved the way stuff snaps onto other structures is a little clunky but overall I like the building besides that. The beginning of the game can be confusing at first, no real main way to go about things but that’s what an open-world is about. You're just slapped into this open-world forging your own path on what you wish to do. Don’t get turned down by the graphics, they aren’t the best I’ve seen but it doesn’t mean the gameplay is terrible, however unless they have addressed this I was having some noticeable FPS issues until I turned down some settings and my PC is on the high-range side of PC’s so not sure what was up with that. There are amazing boss fights to be had in this game, and all are amazing and fun. If you're a person that’s into Lore this game is also for you it has a good amount for you to read and discover in Valheim. Valheim also has a skill system where you can level up the skills you want, there is even a skill for jumping. For an early-access game I’d say the dev’s have done a wonderful job with the game and can’t wait to see the updates it brings to the game and improvements as-well! Don’t pass up this game if you love survival based open worlds.

Pro's
•Amazing Procedurally Generated World
•Fun Engaging Combat
•Skill System
•Intuitive Crafting System
•Even Better with Friends
•Boss Fights (who doesn’t like boss fights?)

Con's
•Possibly a less Clunky Building System
•Improvement to some AI
•Graphics Aren't The Best

Rating
8/10

Overview
Overall, this game has a lot to offer and will be following to see what they bring to the table. The game isn’t too expensive and worth a shot if you're into Open-World Survival Games and will be even better with friends. I hope this game can get finished and they follow their roadmap and nothing goes wrong on their side. Some EA games have never finished and been abandoned and it will be a major let-down if it would happen with this game. But the player-base and the support should keep it from happening.

Summary
As many will agree and say on this, it is the Spiritual Successor to Diablo 2, an F2P ARGP loved by many. It has a little bit of everything for everyone. Now to get this out of the way is it Pay-to-Win? although some may argue on this, I would like to say it is not, although that is open to debate by some. There is a Microtransaction Store filled with Cosmetic items that you can support Grinding Gear Games on. Although I'll say this now if you plan on getting into the game for hundreds of hours you might want to purchase the Tabs in the game as it will make your life a lot easier if you plan on playing a ton of this game. The game has 7 Characters you can choose from where they start in different parts of the massive Skill Tree. 6 out of the 7 Characters have 3 sub-classes so this game can be massively overwhelming to some at first. But, all I can say is I felt that way at first and didn't play it for about a year until I finally gave it a shot and learned a bit by bit, and now I regret missing that year. This game gets updated every 3 months, and not just minor updates MAJOR updates there is a Standard League and a Challenge League. Every 3 months there are balance changes and a big expansion to play and have fun with. There is a Solo self-found and a Hardcore mode for you to play if that is what you like to play. Hardcore means if you die your Character gets sent to the Parent League but you don't lose it. Solo Self-Found or SSF for short is an Ironman/Stand-alone type of mode you can not group up with anyone nor trade with anyone. More onto the Trading However you can trade with other players and sell the gear or currency you no longer need or want.

Pro's
Amazing Community.
Variety of Builds and Choices.
Frequent Updates.
Pretty up-to-date graphics.
Although a lot don't get into it the Lore is amazing.
Amazing In-game Music and Boss Music.

Con's
The QoL needs to spend money on Stash Tabs.
Trading can be pretty clunky to some (No Auction-House)
Not a con myself but some might consider no PvP/Active PvP

Rating
10/10

Overview
Overall this game is probably one of the best current ARPGs you will find and it's FREE as well which is even better! nothing has ever beaten this game in terms of replayability and fun for me. I'll always have fun with this game and if you're looking for an ARPG this is the game you won’t regret I suggest trying it out and having a fun time.

Amazing game, although has alot of flaws with the whole Microtransaction's it is a amazing game, with very good quests that will keep you busy. It will be overwhelming at first playing it but just do your own thing and have fun.

Really amazing game, was slightly confusing at the start but easy to pick up and play. Although only get this game on sale I got about 2-3 hours on the Story Time, and going to be playing this game from time-to-time. So overall very fun short game but had a blast with it :)
