Replayed recently just to complete 1999 mode, and honestly had a blast, It's a perfect amount of stupidly difficult for people with lots of hours and muscle memory in fps games like CS.

Better than the remaster. Be careful though, this series will ruin any future enjoyment of other games for you.

Great game. I bought it week two of release and it gave me 2 weeks of immersive and very fun gaming. I couldn't stop playing. I've heard there are many improvements since, and hope to replay soon.

I had attempted to play terarria several times before. Always with friend. It would go like this;
1 - Friends start world
2 - It's like a new minecraft world, doing basic resource gathering
3 - Log off for the night
4 - Come back and they've beaten the mechanical bosses / the WOF
5 - Be very underequipped and lost.
6 - Stop playing

One day I sat down and committed to 30hrs of terraria. By myself. For about a week I only played it, following the guides recipies and trying not to spoil anythign with some online help.

It was only by doing this that I came to realise who so many people love Terraria. It's a truly great game, where the player chooses the pace of their world. Where all the events and NPCs keep you on your toes, and how you have to constantly strive for progress to keep up with the bosses and events. 10/10 game that I can replay forever. Buy it.

(PS. It's nothing like minecraft)

My first souls game. I'm a M&K player, and the learning curve was very steep, but it taught me well, and catapulted me into the soulslike genre headfirst, and it is now one of my favourite games. If you're new to souls, start here. Its polished, gorgeous, the bosses are great, the build combos are pretty good, and remember, don't you dare go hollow.

A game I've put 300 hours into over several years, never come close to finishing, and have no idea what the story is. But yet, I've nothing but positive memories of it. Skyrim is just one of those special games, with all its quirks. The music is legendary, the modding scene runs deep and varied.

I watched theRadBrad play this as a kid, then I played this streaming on discord with some friends and It was a really fun experience. Its a good detective game, with very cool subject material adaptation. My favourite Telltale game. 9/10

A very fun game and a great direction for Fromsoft to take their game design. It's a game I couldn't put down until I'd completed it, and love the near endless possibilities players have to create builds. The music and boss design is great. The scaling sometime feels a bit off, and it's easy enough to become overlevelled / overpowered at all stages of the game, but that is the nature of open world games.

Best boss - Godfrey / Hoarah Loux
Worst Boss - Godskin Duo
140 tries to beat malenia ~ 15 hours of playtime.

While often considered the black sheep of the Souls Series, DS2:SoTFS is still a terrific game. The main thing about it that stood out for me, is simply the size, and adaptability of the game.
1. the levels and world are LARGE and often beautiful.
2. the fashion and build options are endless and most are genuinely viable.
3. You can change your build mid playthrough to suit the current challenge and the items needed for such are readily available as you progress through the game. Also leveling is not an issue.
4. Bonfire Ascetics, and Memories - you can just keep re-fighting bosses for fun, for items, for souls, whatever you like!
5. Majula and the NPC characters.
6. Some bosses are so difficult, and so fun, while others barely feel worthy of the boss title, but to me, still gave a rush of excitement for defeating them.
7. NG+ and Covenant of Champions - I played my first playthrough entirely with CoC, and In my eyes, while it made the game much harder as a beginner, it allowed me to learn the game much better, and have to actually strategize and learn fights to even have a chance to win.

To me, this game was more fun to play than DS1. I never felt stuck because you could usually go to another area to bash your head against. I am not a player who worries about PvP or minmaxing stats, so lots of the complaints I see did not really apply. Some hitboxes are janky, many fights and areas have ganks at every turn, but trust me, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game the entire time.
