Legitimately one of the greatest sequels to an already great game. This game is truly amazing, it is so well detailed and there is so much effort and beauty in it, from the soundtrack, especially to the lore and the gameplay. I am overjoyed to see this game gain popularity. This is a SOLID 9.8/10.

Just finished the game, not intent on dropping any spoilers, and trying to keep it short to spare you readers some time.

This game is one of the most graphically stunning I have seen of any two person dev team. I bought it for myself and my friend who also will most likely review the game soon (his name is Tungsten, we did our run together.) The soundtrack is pure ecstasy while engaged in combat and overall adds a lot to the setting.

The story itself is extremely well put together. The puzzles can be a bit challenging, but are overall very fun to solve and work through. The gunplay is pretty sleek, and forces you to conserve ammo a lot of the time. It has two different modes, one of which appears to be an even harder one than the normal version. We have not yet played it, but intend to.

I would honestly pay $30 for a game like this and have no regrets, it is criminally underrated, and not enough people have bought it. I also would like to say, since it is a 2 person co-op exclusive, to be careful with who you bring along. Some friends can have a larger sense of humor than others (looking at you Tungsten, after watching me die.)

So what can you expect?

• You're interested in WWII.

• This is where the fun stops and the war crimes begin.

• There are two factions, Axis and Allies, just like the real World War II.
  
• Every individual country has a campaign you can play and they vary in number of war crimes depending on which one you play.
  
• You think that's it? Too bad you're wrong and there's more.
  
• Hans gets a flammenwerfer, Johnny gets his shotgun, Sir Nathaniel gets his crumpets and tea, and Japan idk, I don't play weeb faction.

• There is also multiplayer, which is another word for cancer and long matchmaking times but that's fine.
  
• The singleplayer is extremely polished and has tons of content.
  
• I've played this game for several years now and it never really gets old it's quote fun, especially co-op game modes.

• Unlike other trash games, there are no micro-transactions and it doesn't need the other DLC's to actually be playable.
  
• There aren't actually shotguns in the game that I know of. Correction: There are.
  
• That's about it. Congratulations, you have finished playing a session for the day and committing various war crimes across Europe and Asia, it has been a good day.
  
  • This game CANNOT take the place of a girlfriend in your life, it is not an FPS.
    
  • When you put money into this game (aka buying it,) It does not try to do good, IT IS good.
    
  • If you play Axis you will be put on a watch list.

Yes, this is the game you want, whether you are actually interested or not, we all had that friend who asked us to get it, and then never played it with us, so then it rotted in the steam inventory for a few months before we clicked the play button.

That or your girlfriend broke up with you so this game takes her place.

And that's when the nightmare began.

This is a very good turn based game. It has very fun historical battles which can be played as well. The difficulties make my brain hurt and I just beat the legendary campaign recently. I love how it is put together and the unique units to certain clans is genius, as well as historically accurate. I like how they integrated religion into the game, it can play a rather fun role in campaigns if you choose it too.

I love this game, a great successor to the original CoH-I. I love the game mechanics and the Campaign DLC's are amazing. Faction DLC's also are very well done with a wide spread of unique units. I have played this game for a lot of years now with too many hours on it and still play from time to time. It is a great game, I hope to see a Company of Heroes III someday.

This is an oddly good 2d game that is easy to get the hang of and really satisfying. Knowing how oddly fun and wholesome it is I would pay money for it if it came to it simply to support the creators. I want to see a sequel on this.

Only downside to this is I tried doing it IRL and I couldn't get a girlfriend unfortunately.
