I haven't even owned this game for a week and I'm 22 hours into it. Send Help.

On a serious note if you love / loved Stardew Valley and have been wanting a game that takes the stratospherically high bar and finds a way to match it, look no farther than this game. I'll be honest with you, i have over 300 hours in Stardew Valley, make about 300k a week in wine, and on year 6 and i adore it. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of it and I have seen the wanna be Stardews (looking at you Story of Seasons) come and fall flat on their face completely missing the magic that Concerned Ape created.

I won't go as to say this is a masterpiece, but let's get into the meat and potatoes of which there is a TON of and I'm not qualified to tell you about everything. With 20 hours in the game, i'm about 19 days into spring so I have just barely scratched the surface of the game. The romance options are cute, the fact I don't run out of energy and i have SKILLS NOW?! Sign me up. I HATED running out of energy all the time. The skills and use or magic in the universe feel nice, the skill trees are fantastic and often have something in every level (if not more than one thing) that you want to get, the mining is re imagined with needing keys to unlock deeper depths of the caves and to use the copper ore to get permanent unlocks to the deeper realms. It's all brilliant.

I'd highly recommend anyone who loved Stardew to give this a try, I knew it was worth every penny after the first thirty minutes of play. Let's hope the many more hours keep me involved and the elven villiage is as incredible as the first.

That's right, multiple villages.

The best compliment I can give this game is that it's Dark Souls 3 meets Breath of the Wild had Breath of the Wild been done right without the garbage weapon decay and repeated enemies everywhere that get stronger. Elden Ring is gorgeous, expansive, difficult, but at the same time it's rewarding, exhilarating, and fresh. No matter where you go in the lands between there's something new to discover and get side tracked by. So grab a friend and watch them solo Malenia! Tarnished.

If you're going to play this to unlock the characters and don't want to spend 10 hours for one person, do yourself a favor and get the standard edition. Needing to get 12500 credits to unlock another character when all you get is ~130 per round is exhausting. You'll get more in the standard edition and have a lower requirement. Don't make the mistake of buying the starter edition and then realizing you'll have to pay to unlock everyone else cause you need a ridiculous amount to unlock.

Other than that the game is fantastic. Some things with terrorist hunt could be upgraded or changed but it's a great throw back to the T-hunt in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Loved every minute of that game and so far, it does it for the most part amazingly well. Just wish there were more levels for it!
