Reviewed from Oculus Quest 2: NOTE: It appears that you MUST play this via Airlink with the Oculus App. I was unable to get it to work with Virtual Desktop (it just put me in a box showing me where to center myself in the room while the app itself played on my PC monitor).

That said, this application is absolutely beautiful is things like this are 99% of what I bought my Quest to do. I absolutely love the ability to visit places around the world. The interface for this is very intuitive and the tutorial is well designed. At the moment, there is not quite enough content to justify the price, but more content is on the way.

That said, whenever the amount of available content does grow, I do see a minor problem in the interface where you select where you want to visit. Swiping left and right will work when you only have 10-15 places to go, but once enough additional content is added it will quickly become cumbersome. I would suggest a map showing small images of where you want to go and then selecting from there perhaps? (I'm not a UX expert; I just feel that the location selection portion is really the only part of the app at all that feels clunky).

A fun well-balanced card progression game. I had this game for over a year before I let someone talk me into giving it a try. I'm glad that I did.

Do you need something to play for 5-10 minutes just for fun? This is the game for you! It isn't deep or complex and you probably won't play it for hours at a time, but sometimes, you just want to kill a few minutes with an early 80s style game.

I first learned this card game playing it with friends in real life. I then bought the physical version of the game to play with family and friends. The virtual version of this game is a very faithful reproduction and is a great thing to have in 2020!

Early Access Review
This quiet, unpretentious application is one of the best constructed easiest to get into things I have used in VR and is one of the go to things that I use when I show off the powers of VR to friends. It is easy to navigate. It has a ton of environments that are incredibly rendered. It isn't just "sit on a mountainside and meditate to pretty music." No, you can explore the environments. I just meditated in a Japanese village on the side of a mountain next to a waterfall AND YOU CAN EXPLORE EVERYTHING! I went under the waterfall. I explored about 20-30 different buildings in the village - including inside the buildings. These aren't just one room shacks. They have multiple floors. They have balconies. I explored a secret bamboo glen that I had to go through a mountain archway. And they have 27 of these environments.

And the meditations are top notch as well. They claim to have 16 hours of meditation on a lot of different topics (pregnancy, stress, sleep, etc.) and these are broken up into differing durations designed to fit how much time you have available. You can choose different music styles of background music (or even streaming radio).

I heard about this game a couple of weeks ago and the game intrigued me. I'm not a hard core gamer; I love the games from the 80s where there isn't a huge learning curve, you don't need to worry about constantly swapping out weapons, you don't need to figure out complex rules, you just need to click that start button and play. If you love those type of games that are fun with incremental waves that add challenge, you need to get this game.

This is one of the few games I've purchased on its launch day and it did not disappoint. As soon as I was done with work for the day, I dove into it and played for 90 minutes (until my wife got home from work). I see many, many hours of playtime in the future.

My only suggestion is that when using the VR controller to steer the plane in immersion mode, it would be nice to have an inverted controller option (I am not great at pushing forward to dive).

I recently sold my Vive and switched to another VR headset. When they say "HTC Vive" only, they mean it. They actively block other headsets with an error message. This is the second time I've been burned by them. I bought all of their content on the GearVR. Within a year, it was yanked from the store so it couldn't be re-downloaded and even the content I'd already downloaded began failing DRM.

A faithful reproduction and one of the few games where the AI consistently wins (really? how does it get 10 damage on round 2?).
