For me it's basically just Police Tactical Unit Special Forces (e.g S.W.A.T) vs Criminal Syndicates (e.g Cartels) that depicts real life crime acts such as hostages (e.g kidnap for ransom), bombing an establishments, genocides and illegal possession of firearms of these Terrorists.

However the Counter-Terrorists (police) will try to prevent the Terrorists' (criminal) strike which is to defend by eliminating the criminals, defusing the planted bomb and or saving the hostages or the Terrorists will attack by planting the bomb or eliminate the police that will try to stop them. It's neither the CTs and the Ts that will Counter the strike, Strike the counter, Counter to strike or Strike to counter, we won't know because sometimes it's always the other way around.

In conclusion these two team rivals will always have to deal with handling weaponry, utilities, corners and crossfire and have to win the round raise to thirteen otherwise it will be a tie and or overtime.
