Not only does the netcode have its fair share of issues; ever since the game went F2P it is becoming rather difficult to play a game without someone cheating.
P.S. it is an insult to hackers to call these cheaters - hackers.

In addition there are a lot of hackers.
Should the developers focus on removing hackers, and also make it a little bit more begginer friendly this would be a great game!

A great, dare I say best asymetrical RPG, in style of Blizzards Diablo.
EDIT: multiplayer servers are up, and nordic are activelly developing the game!

I will upvote this only because of nostalgia.
There are 2 big issues for a long time. Lag and low FPS.
Multiplayer matches are plagued by long delay times. Sometimes it even gets as bad as 3-4 secs. (2 v 2 matches usually result around 0,5 to 1,5 secs) [RIP microing]
And speaking of frames per second; playing with 300 pop or more causes huge drops, as low as to 15.
The frame rate issues just might be because of my PC, but there are a lot of topics about low fps with high end gear such as intel I7's paired up with gtx 970...
I understand it is not easy to fix any of those two, but if you can make a new expansion, you sure as hell can fix your game!

However you will love the lag if you love onagers...

Battlefield is quite epic with 64 players on map.
Now, try 2000 on for size.
Now remove the insane prices and DLC's because it is free.
Now add more customizations.
Now add more balance.
