This game is so generic, I would have preferred a cadre of unknown characters rather than some of the best Marvel has to offer.

This game is just a drag. My comment for practically every map is, "Oh, not this map." The only thing done well is the card system. The maps are annoying, and the addition of new, equally annoying monsters doesn't make the game better, it makes it more of a chore to play.

Every decision made by the designers of this game is wrong. Instead of being a heroic 3/4 view game, or a tense "make every shot count" game, this is a game of clinical psychology, where you worry more about someone's stress and associated effects than you do hunting bugs. As much fun as arranging items in a backpack. I feel honestly ripped off.

::edit:: Dawn of War had xenos, and that game, all of them, were super fun. This game misses everything you can find in any number of similar titles. There's not even a chance to get attached to a given soldier because they're all expendable and interchangeable. Feh, whatever.

I enjoyed the first game, and like this one, too.

It's quiet and moody and the enemy can be a little unsettling at times. But when you've got the right weapons, you stride like a great hunter across the land.

Yes, but don't buy it unless it's on sale. With that said, I enjoy it more than the first Vermantide.
