Fantastic except for the stupid ass racing mission.

The main game is good(when it isn't crashing), but the DLCs are actual dogwater I'd recommend skipping them entirely.

Fantastic game and my favourite of the modern persona games.
In my opinion this is the definitive way to experience The Journey (original Persona 3 story) and will most likely be better than FES for experiencing The Answer (additional story that takes place after The Journey added in Persona 3 FES) since actually playing it in FES was kinda ass.
The story is in my opinion the most interesting out of Persona 3, 4 and 5. The characters are great and the less fleshed out ones are expanded on with the new feature of Link Episodes and hang outs at the dorm.
The new music fits like a glove and the voice actors do a great job (the biggest winner here being Fuuka). Fully voice acted Social Links are also greatly appreciated.
The omission of the female protagonist is a shame, but not surprising since it would probably be quite costly to redo all the voice acting and the entire soundtrack, all of the UI, animations and the animated scenes by Wit studio.
Truly my only gripe would be the pricing, 70€ with 30€ of day 1 DLC is mad. On top of that 35€ for the expansion pass where the only worthwhile content is The Answer expansion (the new outfits and more music is nice but ultimately who really cares about it). So unless you really love the series I would wait for a sale.
