Let's start off by saying there's no need to reinvent the wheel when you have a perfectly functional game. All of the skills in the game are near useless no matter how I use them. The gunplay is a downgrade from Payday 2 and the amount of guns are limited compared even to the original Payday 2 release. They removed many mechanics that made Payday, well, Payday. For example body bags, detection and concealement, perk decks, shotgun fling and the title tries to be something it's not. And the something it's not that I'm talking about is a realistic first person shooter held in banks and stores, not a fun bank robbing game. They also included decreasing pagers depending on difficulty, which makes one of Payday's stealth's most important assets, killing guards, a punishment for playing the game. But on top of all of these stupid features that have made this game a significant downgrade from Payday 2 is the lack of single player. You're forced into going on these broken servers in hopes of maybe connecting and occasionally viewing Payday's Twitter accounts because you can't seem to just connect. I waited for this game for 6 years just for it to be a total dumpster fire on release. I trusted you Starbreeze and Overkill and you made a disappointment of a game and you made your entire fanbase turn on you.

Maybe the Elden Ring™ was the friends we made along the way.
