With the new updates the game has gotten a lot better, however it does feel "arcadey" as many other users have said. The game doesnt have sand or damage like previous games and there isnt much vehicle customization which kinda sucks because u get to pick 1 color and deal with it on all vehicles and you cant add cosmetics or change things on the vehicle which kind of sucks imo.

Good game overall, the game is pretty chill and the scenery is very nice. The story is very in depth but its not really my liking. There are a lot stressful parts of the game that are fun but it give you the option if you want high stakes and high stress or low stakes and low stress, however you do need to go deep into the game and into the stressful bits to complete the story.

Im getting major lag spikes and FPS drops (drops to 2fps) that will kick me out of VR for a few seconds and make me want to throw up. I have a very decent build for VR with pretty high end specs, 36gb ram, 3070 gpu, i5 11700KF cpu, and I use the Valve Index headset. yet I will still randomly get these frame drops, even in the main menu. I have no idea what the reason could be and I've spent way too much time trying to figure it out.

I would consider this game somewhat of an improvement overall from FS22, some things have been added that are nice but they also changed and got rid of a lot of features and it feels like trying to learn a new game. Thus far the biggest improvements I've seen are better graphics (and terrain deformation), sounds, Water has had an insane improvement with actual physics and wave ripples, and animals (and visual animal growth stages). Some other improvements I've seen that I like are the new tree types around the maps, they add some life and variety. I also like the new weather and how fog tends to settle in valleys and trenches. I also like the mud affect on vehicles and tires, I do think it could be improved a little bit though. Some of the biggest losses I've seen are the lack of vehicles, especially since most are just strait out of FS22 with no changes, the new menus are yucky and clunky and hard to navigate, in the shop there is no longer the old "Garage" or "Leases" feature and now its its own menu that is hard to find and doesn't provide images unless you click on it, the driving feels a bit sluggish, the menu music is honestly horrendous, especially compared to older menu music such as 'Tread Fast' by Big top. The new AI workers are pretty garbage, they need to add more options to them for the helper menu as some fields have strange AI path layouts that could be fixed easily just by letting players set the degree. just like the GPS, which is absolute ♥♥♥♥ compared to the FS22 Modded GPS, only good part about new GPS is that it comes with pre-determined paths for fields, however unlike modded FS22 GPS it constantly disables for no reason, never steers enough and misses the line making a bunch of S's on the field instead of lines, and is overall horrible. A lot of the new crop types kinda just feel like 'filler' for a lack of a better term. I also hate the fact that a lot of the new 'features' are just past mods that are now in the game but worse, for example GPS and Color picker. The variety of trees has increased, however logs continue to spawn with invisible hit boxes or don't have hit boxes at all, on this topic. Some vehicles and implements have broken hit boxes or broken hitches when connected, for example the black small logging trailer has a ♥♥♥♥ hit box that doesn't account for its size and many parts of it are not part of the hit box and the smaller tanker trailer has an insanely large one. On the smaller ABI trailers they will also break the connected tractor's 3 point hitch (I've only done it with the Fendt 500) and it is an absolute eye sore as the 3 pnt hitch will mangle itself. As previously mentioned, the water physics are much much much better, however some objects don't register in the water and don't make ripples, so far the main things that don't do this are front loaders and their implements. Just like the old game, when pallets are stacked then locked with tension belts, they have a tendency to explode when the belts are removed and can send your pallets across the map, usually they just drop off the side and flip, but the 1 in 1000000 time that it flies away back to its home land is very irritating. Owned and leased objects (such as weights, mowers, etc) will sometimes disappear from the menu map making it hard to find them when you lose them, and even harder to reset them if they get stuck (the only fix for this I've found is attaching and detaching the implement). Currently (07/13/25) I'm experiencing an issue where random vehicles will suddenly not allow me to zoom the camera, I've tried changing key binds and using different keys to no avail, hopefully I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I'm somewhat disappointed with how long my friends and I have waited for this game to release and its kind of a let down compared to when FS22 dropped, but will hopefully continue to get better with more development.

I thought it would be great, however its not realistic and pretty ♥♥♥♥ compared to what I hoped for, driving a truck for example, when bobtailing or driving unloaded, it fails to make turns at 40kph and will slide, costing you hours of time to get back on course in the long run. There are also heaps of bugs that just make the game unenjoyable. The games's graphics even on high aren't that great, and that's fine but it shouldn't create the amount of lag it does even when running on my beefy PC. The control layout also isn't great and I had to change my controls multiple times just to play the game and not get confused. Your mouse is also on screen 24/7 and it is annoying asf. Overall, the only improvement that this game has over Construction Simulator 2015 is more brands and maybe graphics. The game also makes me not want to buy any of the vehicles in it because they control so ♥♥♥♥ to the point that I no longer trust these brands in the real world. Also the tutorial sucks, it just tells you basic controls but thats it, it doesn't tell you much of how to actually do much, I spent a good 15min trying to figure out how to attach a pipe to a crane because the game just failed to tell me how to do so, all it told me was to use the "help menu" which just listed the controls. Also with the amount of DLCs it feels like this is just a cheap money grab that is overall not very worth it, if I had played less that 2 hours I would have refunded the game, but since the tutorial can't tutorial, I spent 2.3 hours on just learning how to drive.
