Despite being a world of difference from the previous games, this new Tomb Raider reboot appeals to players of more modern tendencies by focusing less on the puzzles and Lara's "Duke Nukem-ish" behavior and more on the combat and the storyline, making the most human Lara Croft until this date.

I will miss old Lara's sexiness and sarcasm, but I welcome this Lara's with open arms as I truly felt sorry for her on the whole journey, while still feeling kinda weird about the absurdity of how a little girl could survive all of the events in the island, nonetheless I felt her struggle and thus the immersion achieved in this new reboot is a positive new focus on the Tomb Raider saga. 8.5/10
