Didn't enjoy.

This game is broken in so many ways that it's not fun. I write this as I see my team mate stuck under an enemy corpse while the other enemies walk and attack him through it. The base idea is fun, the bugs and balance ruin it.

And yes I can complete Helldive without issue. It's just not FUN completing the missions.

Interstellar war is fun, but I'm going to use this review to rebuke negative reviews instead;

A lot of the negative reviews surrounding this game are about price and I understand that this game is expensive but it's a niche game with constant free updates that these DLC essentially pay for. If you have a friend who can afford the DLC then you can, in multiplayer games, receive most of the DLC benefits for free. If you don't have that then you can buy only a limited subset of the DLC that interest you when they're discounted.

Very enjoyable.

The humour is annoying, the music is grating, the game has a lot of waiting around, the art style is ugly.

I don't recommend unless you don't mind the things I listed above.

The entire time I thought "I could be cleaning my own house".

This is like if you took Factorio and removed all of the charm and survival challenge from it. A soulless puzzle-esque logistics game that misses the point of logistics in reality; moving real things from A to B in increasingly complex measures and dealing with the complexities of nature, people, time, seasons, etc. Most logistics games include some of these elements but this game does not, aside from procedurally generated deposits.

I am not a fan of minimalism so if you are this review can be safely ignored but if you find the idea of staring at a light/dark screen with almost no variation in colour all day to be an unpleasant idea do not buy this game.

Furthermore the challenge itself is weak, it's not a difficult game, but in spite of that they feel the need to lock blueprints behind the 12th level which just increases _tedium_ and not challenge.

I cannot recommend this game.

Synthetics are my favourite play style so far. You will be assilimated.

Leviathans add an additional barrier to expansion, a goal, a challenge and they feel right out of Star Trek, which make them awesome.

Buy if you like additional variety in the game.
