The hours speak for themselves; The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (and Afterbirth/+) is the cornerstone of Roguelike games. This game truly has hours upon hours of replayability. The game structure teaches new players the basics without being too overwhelming, allowing them to figure out the mechanics over time and introducing them to new enemies and tactics as they progress. This combined with the "randomly generated run" aspect makes every playthough a unique and fun learning experience. Once the player has figured out the game's basics, mastery then comes; min-maxing and theorycrafting is encouraged to complete more unforgiving characters. Challenges, Daily Runs, and the DLC introduction of "Greed Mode" provide even more replay value on top of what already exists. This game contains the most "bang for buck" of any game on Steam. Period.

For those looking for a challenge, and a breakaway from different styles of games. This is a great tactical game that punishes you for making rash decisions. Very well made, grizzly, gothic, and very replayable.
