Dark Souls 2 was an accident. But with Scholar of the First Sin, things are getting exciting again. Enemies have been repositioned, items for purchase have been slightly changed, and the game has generally become "slightly" more difficult. A good reworking of an accident that should never have happened.

A friend of mine gifted me this game because he thought I will like it. Yes, I like the Souls Games and I'm still playing Dark Souls 1-3 but Elden Ring is something different. I don't like the Breath of the Wild / Souls mix. It's feels totally wrong to me. I'm not really interested in the story either. I expect dragons, Gwyn, Ornstein, darkness and the undead parish. Maybe it's a good game but I can't tell.

At its core, Dark Souls 2 is a good sequel to Dark Souls. As I said in the core. There are some really good changes in leveling and item usages like humanity and so on but the two biggest criticisms are: - It's simply too easy, and you're just following a thread. The independent decision-making and exploration that you know from Dark Souls is gone. Actually, that's one of the main selling points of Dark Souls. The thread you're following doesn't get any broader. It stays the same. It still gets a thumbs up. But only because the cover says Dark Souls...

I finished the Prepare to Die Edition on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC many times. Dark Souls is the game where I spend most time into a RPG.
What I miss in the other parts is simply the freedom, you can do what you want. Gather some rings or equipment in other regions is the way to go before moving on other regions. Simply good.
Another point is the cloud save option. I don't know why Dark Souls 2 and 3 don't have that already. Dark Souls Remastered and the Ptd Edition have cloud save... But now it's back as a Remastered version with 60FPS a good support for Widescreen and a slightly better visual experience. I never played this game as a cleric. Time to change this right know.

And don't forget, pray the sun ☀️

Do you know the movie with Tom Cruise Live. Die. Repeat? This game is actually the same. You die so long on a specific enemy until you understand the movement. I know this game from PS3 times like Deamon Souls and it's still awesome. You can beat this game in so many ways. No one takes you by the hand and guides you. Every item has its own little story to tell, and the level design is still top-notch. It's a shame that you can't buy it anymore. Also multiplayer is offline I guess. Running around as human hollow and no one wanna invade me. I really don't know why this game has a 30FPS lock but it's runs ridiculous good on my handheld device. Dark Souls is one of my favorite RPG's of all time. Just get good and enjoy your time with this masterpiece of software From Software :)

Oh I forgot, pray the sun.

What is this? I know Forza 3 Motorsport. Enjoyed my time with the Xbox 360 but Forza 5 is something completely different. You get pelted with vehicles and money. What's the point of that? There's an open world, but why? I just want to race and improve my vehicle with my hard-earned money. Oh right, I forgot again. I get everything thrown at me. Also a mobile prize wheel is in Forza 5. You can take this game and drive directly into a wall.

Need for Speed is still better than Heat and Payback together. It was a really good decision to finally get back into the underground scene. You can mess around with the cops, tune your car and spend many hours improving the appearance of your car. Unfortunately the collision isn't good and the cutscenes aren't my thing either.

Hashtag Underground Drift Riot...
(I still get nightmares about it)

RetroArch is a great addition for restoring old games to their former glory. Unfortunately, the Steam version is missing important cores. This problem can be easily fixed. For example, download RetroArch via Flatpak on Linux, update all cores, download the cores you need and don't forget the info files and additional files for the Cores. As next change in the Steam version the folder locations from Cores and Info files and done. Full working RetroArch with all cores as Steam version.
Inside the retroarch.cfg file you can change network_on_demand_thumnails from false to true and you have covers too (the Steam version) .

A really bad remastered edition of GTA 3. The performance is often pretty bad. I don't know what Rockstar Games smoking but they should reduce it. Better play the good old GTA 3. It runs 1000 times better than this software.

What would happened if Monolith were still there? A Shadow of the Light King? The second part is simply even bigger than its predecessor in every way. Everything is bigger and better. Thankfully, I didn't experience the loot boxes at the beginning. On a handheld, it runs at 800p with high graphics settings with smooth 50FPS and still looks really good. It's a real shame there won't be a third part. Or maybe there will be someday.
