Im feeling good, even a little cocky now. I luckily found a station that offered repairs and I was able to get all my ships back into top shape though costing most of my scrap. Instead of heading for the exit i think ill take a few more chances since the danger level is still minimal and i need to gain some more scrap for upgrades. Ok, warp here and the mission is destroy all threats. This shouldn't be too much of a problem. Oh NO theres a battle carrier, torpedoes, shields failing dammit....game over. And so goes another Distant Star Revenent Fleet run that looked promising and again ended in failure but damn lets do that again!

Distant Star Revent fleet is an addictive "one more mission" rouge type game set in space. At the start, literally, you are immediatley thrown into battle thats set ups the familiar story and gameplay. The story begins(why was Revent Fleet added?) after an enemy ambush that leaves you as the leader of the last A'kari ship. Your mission is to traveres the galaxy, rebuild and upgrade the fleet (up to 5 ships) and destroy the enemy before they unleash their ultimate weapon that will destroy your homeworld. There are no cutscenes, pictures, voice or video. All information(other than the opening set up) is text based and unfortunante becasue while it's not an original story there are multiple occasions more art work, or sound would have provided some immersion into the world.

In order to win the game you will have to travel through 5 galaxies and complete roughly 35-50+ missions/warps depending on your courage to reach the end boss. Each galaxy contains muliptle sectors in which you warp your ship(s). This is where you can gain missions to earn scrap, upgrades and addtional ships. Choices are everywhere but the longer you stay in a galaxy the threat level from the enemy becomes higher making each warp to a sector more dangerous. Its that constant gamble that can payoff with more scrap, but also can devaste your run. Oh, and did i mention everything is procedurely generated so no run is alike. Quests, loot, ship upgrades, the galaxy is differet each time.

Gameplay is real-time/ pausable combact in the likes of the original Dragon Age and more recently Pillars of Eternity. The combat is excellent and you will constantly be pausing and startegizing your every move, every second. Battles do grow a little monotnaous after a hundred or so encounters but mixing up your fleet, equipment and passives makes each comabt session a dance of survival by number crunching. Each ship whether a tank, support, or heavy(7 different ships to choose) each has their strenghts and weakness and waiting for those countdowns to expire, pause and then position for the kill or to power up a friendlys shield or increase damage is super satisfying. All combat takes place on a randomly genertaed map with broken ships used to block oftern certain passages. Its an attractive background but it could have used some more variety, but hey, its space.

http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/431574499126408855/AA70D9D05AF609AECEAEB70A5A5EA5643146934D/

As you journey through the galaxy quests, missions and random events will be your source of income and more likely the countodwn to your impending doom. Missions in Distant Star vary from escort, destroy all enemies, protect or retake space stations, or ships to name just a few. As you warp into some sectors you will also be be given a text quests in which you will make a choice whether to steal from refugees, kill traitors, provide resources, etc but from an overall impact i do not know if playing good or evil has any consequnce. On some occasions, where i had helped refugees earlier by providing rations, later gave me a discount from a vendor but i am really not sure.

While i wish decisions did impact the world, one of the biggest problems you will face is having enough resources. Each time you warp to a sector you will consume 1 resource. As resources are limited you will occasionally/ randomly warp into a sector were you will be rewarded with a resource or 2 but my biggest issue are the vendors. As i mentioned the game is randomly generated and most vendors only sell one item. One may be a vendor for ships, another for upgrades, or another for resouces and repairs. Its really the biggest hurdle in my opinon especuilly on the harder difficulty as you have to continually warp and take on these missions and gamble in order to build up your fleet. if you dont have resources it will cripple you in a sense that your ships(randomly) will receive critical damage. In one instance i made it to a vendor to repair my ships(no resources) but becasue of the expense i had no money left to buy resources. As i said earlier IF you have resources available and you run into trouble in a sector you can escape but with a penalty, but you have to have resources.Punishing to say the least.

Make no mistake this is not rouge 'like', or rouge 'light' this is a hard core rouge type game. One death and its the end, curtains, game over man. Its soul crushing, devasting, and sometimes just flat out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but damn it fun as hell. Distant Star is a great initial offering in a genre that is usually left to fanatsy and side scrollers. Its not as deep as it could go but there is stiil a lot of meat on this bone that hopefully they will be able to build on this success.

A few notes: I play(still playing) the game on hard difficulty on my Laptop with m/kb and Ive never have had any problems playing the game with max settings 1080p.
This is by far not my type of game (rougue) but after watching my favority LPer Yippe Ky Ya Mr Falcon i knew it had the things i am a fan of Space, RPG, and RTS/ pause combat and i wasnt disappointed.

After posting the review i reached out to the community for possible answers to some of those lingering questions i had and was greeted by a developer of the game who answered them a follows:

In terms of the minimimal resouces:
1) The supplies are rare. We wanted to give the feeling of a war-torn fleet making their way across the galaxy. Most sectors should have a supply shop though and those sell bundles of supplies.

Do choices matter:
2) Yes, some do. Some choices can have good results like open a shop at the node that you might not otherwise access or open a quest line. Others have bad results, like failing a quest chain or costing you credits and supplies.

On Galaxy path:
3) No difference in terms of difficulty (they all scale in the same manner), but some in terms of the type of missions you get. Neutral sectors are more likely to have pirate encounters for example and A'Kari sectors may have more defend & escort missions.

Positives

Super addicting One More turn, one more mission game
Like Dark Souls death comes fast at first but each death you are always learning on what not to do
RTS/ pauseable comabt is excellantly implemented and satisfying
Every Playthough is different
Developers are active and responsive to questions
Ship variety, upgrades have a good variety and balance
Love me some number crunching
Confident one second, next second you are starting over

Negatives

Economy needs some tweaking.
Resources too rare, and maybe too expensive?
The UI could be better.
Background is pretty much the same thoughout
The game just starts and just ends.
Weak hints or tutorial. If i take a path through the enemy galaxies, does that pay off more? Are missions different? I dont know at least i dont think so. Does playing good or evil matter?
Just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deaths. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This pertains to every game i cant beat.

A very noticeable homage to Stanley Kubrick films, Spirits Of Xanadu is a simple exploration game that while devoid of originality and plagued by some bugs its still is a worthy experience due to its atmosphere, attention to sound, story and voice acting.

In the game you are on a mission to rescue the ship Xandu(for its cargo) and if possible the 3 member crew. Once you receive your orders upon boarding the ship at the start of the game you are free to explore at your leisure. Your only obstacle are robots and turrets scattered throughout the ship who will knock you unconscious but never kill you. You have a few weapons to combat the never ending(and annyoing respawning) robots, but once you retrieve the machine gun they pose no threat. The shooting is super satisfying and i would play a FPS in this world with these graphics.

Speaking of graphics, Spirits of Xandu doesn't look like a modern game, rather a game from the early to mid 2000's but damn it runs and looks great. I actually had reservations but let me just say screenshots do not do the engine any service.

Luckily, (almost)everything(even why you are not killed) is explained in audio, written pages, or emails placed throughout the ship providing the background of the characters and the story of what happened upon their mission. Again as in Kubrick films you will not be given the full blown 1+1=2, your imagination and sometimes what is not know or seen is the best story. You will however, Deus EX style, be given a choice which will have consequences on the ending where you be provided a short movie.

Spirits of Xandu is very limited in gameplay as my first play though took 2-3 hours as i looked for every message(counter for collectibles) but its the experience i enjoyed as well as the story. There are so many things i want to discuss but each would be spoiler as i saw things that are easily missed or maybe no one has ever seen or heard. A must play for adventure gamers and fans of Kubrick movies as you will not be disappointed.

Recommend playing in the dark with headphones.

Positives
Solid space exploration game
Good voice acting and writing
A couple jump scares
So many little hidden moments, trippy
Sped run 2nd time in under 15 minutes(to see alt. ending)

Negatives
Spawning is annoying and doesn't make sense for the story, location
Easy to miss solutions to puzzles
Game breaking bug at the end
Story is not original but still good

Kotor 2 for a long time has been praised and also criticized since it first released over 10 years ago. Obsidian, again working on a tight schedule(why does it happen to them all the time) still managed to put together one of the best story rpgs ever and now with the addition of the TSLRCM mod improves it to epic status. Its easily one of the best games i have ever played and the story and especially the characters are simply amazing from start to finish.

In the game you play as Jedi(duh) who has been exiled due to you following 2 rouge Jedi into the Mandalorin wars. This exile has made you forget/ lose(hello? Amnesia) the force and your journey is about regaining that knowledge whether it be for light, dark or not at all. While on your journey you will also be dodging and fighting the Sith who believe you are the last of the jedi and your death will bring them an ultimate victory of the galaxy. And of course you will also be doing all that awesome RPG stuff of crafting, leveling, building a team, and making choices.

I probably consider Mass Effect 2 as the pinnacle when discussing character, story driven RPG's but after Kotor 2....damn its close. And i don't know which is better but thats a great argument to have among fans. The party you build in Kotor 2 is as mysterious, scary, lovable, funny and dark that, like in mass effect, i could not wait to talk to them. Not only are all conversations engaging, but they are brought to life by probably by the best group of voice actors assembled for a video game. I cant recall one voice who does not represent the character they portray nor a voice who was weak, or just plain bad. I can finally understand the appeal and praise for the assassin droid HK-47 who I will never forgot, or Kreia, Atton, Bau-Dor, Mandalore, Mira, and Visas. All memorable in their own unique way and lets not forget about their ship the Ebon Hawk which i will glady place along side the likes of the Millenium Falcon, Normandy and Enterprise.

The game play for Kotor 2 is real -time, pausable turn based combat. As you enter combat you can place 4 orders/ turns per character but you will be changing them constantly depending on enemies. In combat you can choose an active skill, buffs, combat stance which is very important and of course force powers. These powers and skills will all be rewarded as you level your character and progress through the story. The level up system is very deep for skills but the point system is i dont know how to explain but i always just hit "recommend" after the 3rd or 4 th level. Maybe too many points are given?

One of Obsidians staple for their games are choice and Kotor 2 does not disappoint. Of course you being a Jedi your choice is obvious light or dark but the the way it is presented in writing makes it clear. There are no shades of gray for your choice. Those choices carry through to the end as well as what party members you will be able to recruit. There is also a rewarding crafting system though its a lot to absorb at the start but becomes a little easier to understand after a few trial and errors. You will be able to craft equipment, weapons and medicine but because of the limited interface and ease to compare items i used it sparingly. The game is not difficult even on the hardest difficulty and loot is plentiful so crafting is really just an option and not necessity.

This is still a 10 year old game and not without noticeable game play staples of today. I would have given a left nut for fast travel, a better UI, and when crafting the ability to compare items and a simple who has what equipped. i dont actually know all the details of what the MOD fixed other than adding lost content, but graphically it looks sharp and the combat with some new added animations looked really cool.

Kotor 2 is another amazing title from Obsidian and with the help of dedicated fans has not only preserved it for another generation but polished it to the diamond status it deserves. I finished the game a few days ago and still thinking about choices, characters and the story. Awesome game.

Positives:
One of the best Story, Character driven RPGs ever made and equals Mass Effect 2 in every way
It maybe the best voice acting(including robots) cast ever
Graphics are dated but they still look sharp and the light saber battles look really good.
RPG goodness everywhere
i want to immediately restart and go down the other path

Negatives
The UI needs updated. I would rather see an MMO type toolbar than what is in place.
You cant compare items and when crafting it just says "equipped" but doesnt say by who
A lot of running back and forth and sometimes, where do i go?
The point distribution for leveling feels too rewarding?
A little easy even on hard difficulty
Obsidian are not doing a complete remake or working on Kotor 3

Few notes:
I played the game on my laptop with mouse and k/b at 1080P with only the TSLRCM mod installed. I experienced 2 hard crashes and i lost my cloud save? once. To me these are minor and non issue.
Steam shows playtime around 63 hrs which i feel is accurate. I tried to do everything, i talked to everyone and even played Pazzak.
I am huge RPG fan and Obsidian/Black Isle are my favorite RPG developers. I had held off from playing Kotor 2 because of the constant crashes and problems that seemed to plague the game on initial release.

A very standard and safe HOG game that if you are a fan of the genre i am sure you will enjoy, but outsiders should probably stay away.
Brink of Consciousness starts as a majority of HOG do with a kidnapping of a loved one from an elusive serial killer. Sounds familar and it all plays out through the killers house of horrors. In the house you will solve puzzles, HOG and look for objects that will help you gain access to other objects or areas. Again, pretty normal but for this particular game my intrest was in the killer who almost is doing his best Joker impersonation, without being the joker. Inside the house of Oscar, the serial killer, he sees himself as an artist who has kidnapped young people and then embalmed them in these large tubes as show pieces around the house. Its sort of eerie but his explanation turns towards their betrayl of his trust and love. Sort of interesting, but cliche but the voice work and writing are not bad and while i was hoping for a better conclusion its always more about the journey than the end.
The puzzles and hidden objects are hit and miss and i found myself skipping a few(for the first time ever) as there are some that the trial and error becomes time consuming and sort of frustrating. There are also a few objects in scenes which are almost invisible and some of the multi tear hidden objects puzzles are not clearly defined. Luckily, a hint system, skip puzzle and the complete walkthru are all attached to the toolbar for easy access.
Brink of Consciousness is just OK as it doesnt stray away from the HOG blueprint and for fans of the genre thats fine.

Positives

Good writing and voice acting for the serial killer
The scenes are all manageable and look clear
Not origianl but still fun and relaxing
Good musical score
Guide and hints attached to the toolobar

Negatives

Very safe and predictable
Puzzles are inconsitent
Some multi tear hidden objects not well defined

Playing at Atomic speed, fully adreanlized and highly caffenated Shadow Warrior never slows down. A mix of old school and modern tech ingrediants Flying Wild Hog knows guns and action and prove it again with their second FPS game.

In Shadow Warrior you play as Lo Wang who while on a mission to retrieve a sacred sword to destroy demons from another dimension(totally cliche) you totally get blindsided into the real story of a family tradgedy. Its actually pretty good and the ending is very bittersweet. But if you didnt come to the game for story thats ok, cutscense can be skipped at the tap of a button and the story is told in less than 5 minutes i would guess but totally worth paying attention.

The gameplay is very simple, enter an area kill everything. There is no cover and no mercy. Even after mini boss fights enemies will continue to keep coming. There is a semi generous save system in place and you can heal yourself at anytime but trust me there will be times when you question both.

You will be given your basic FPS arsenal from guns, crossbow, flamthowers and rocket launchers that are all upgradeable as well as some mystical powers and perks to choose. All the weopns and powers are useful and i never found myself sticking to one or another. Constantly cycling through weapons and powers during each battle is recommeded as each encounter is graded. The more variety the more experience you earn towards a perk upgrade.

Shawdow Warrior is a good looking game(2013) though most of it comes from the enviorments, and weapons. Most enemies are not that memorable and human charcters are minimal in the game and are very basic looking. A game can be strengthened by graphics and while this doesnt raise the bar it will never diminsh the actual game with age.

One of the weakest parts of the game is enemy variety. This is a long game 20+ hrs and i can name every enemy i hate i one hand. More variety would be welcome but the horde packages, enviroments and your constant upgrades helped differentiate each encounter.

I also have to mention the huomor that is constantly up front and had me laughin out loud. Also, each level there is numerous secrets to be found which in itself is a game.

Overall Shadow Warrior is an awesome game, maybe a bit long, a little weak with enemy variety and the last encouter and boss can be marathons but well worth getting your Wang on. A must buy for fans of horde levels, Doom, Wolfenstein, FPS type games.

Positives
Total Bang for your Buck
Great setting, enviorments, music
Good story
Weapons, powers, skill tress
Non Stop Action
Humor, voice acting

Negatives
Enemy variety
Sometimes hard to figure which way to go
One trick pony
Marathon Boss at the end
A little long

Contrast is a good game. Nothing more, nothing less just good. It's a complete game, but it also feel like its EXACTLY wanted the devepoer wanted to accomplish. While platforming is the main gameplay component, and its ok, its the story that is the real focus and that focus is easily highlighted by the biggest suprise, game length. I would have easily guessed there would be 8-10 hours of gameplay as most platformers fall in that range, but searching every corner, taking my time, reading all the notes, etc my total time is right at 4 hours. Could it have easily been 10hrs, yes. Did i want to spendmore time in this world with these charcters, definantly. I have never measured a game by its length(wink!) and neither should anyone. Its gameplay, story, mechanics, world, music and charcters that you want to find yourself lost and for Contrast i was glad no one found me.

Positives
Twilight Zonish story
Really good voice work
Beutiful art, noire world
Good platforming
Easy game, short
Easy to get all achievments
Cool easter eggs

Negatives

Short-would like to have spent more time in the world with these charcters
sound- Other than main menu soundtrack there is very little to no music. Also, during some sequences in shadow no sound?
Platforming is basic. Does not take adavantage of the charcter who is an acrobat

How funny is it when a game excels in every aspect, except for what the game is being marketed. In this case, Infected is a typical, paint by numbers HOG but its the story, voice acting and use of FMV that makes it more interesting and why it stands out. Its probbaly one of my favorite HOG games i have played and one i would recommend to even non HOG players.

Infected starts with a strong intro in the form of a news cast that details how a unknown, deadly virus is spreading through the town. It was first discovered from a set of twins at the local hospital. Only one of the twin girsl is infected while the other seems to be immune. During the panic and chaos the immune twin vanishes and with her possibly the cure. Your job is to find the girl. To find her you will be dropped into the vacated town where you will visit close to a dozen locations where you will go through the HOG motions of finding objects to use, solving puzzles and exploring until your brain hurts and you finally just hit the Hint button.

While i joke that it is typical HOG game there is a slight twist. You still get a picture of objects scattered about, but most of the time you have to find an object that will interact with another. It may be more than two steps before you finally get the object but it really makes these more interesting than heres a list point and click. I just wish they would have gone a little more deeper with the idea. Its a good start to somthing to build on for future HOG games.

Infected to me is a rare instance for the hidden object games. While a lot of other very good games in the genre are content with B movie labeling or maintiang the cheese factor, Infected went up and beyond. A story thats not about ghosts, fantasy or true detective, its solid use of FMV, acting and voice work builds a belevable world and one i was glad i visited.

Positives
Great story, use of FMV and voice work
Twist on the HOG formula
I think it uses real world pictures idk, anyway it looks great
The actual strategy guide is attched to your toolbar

Negatives
One or two puzzles that are diffciult becasue of the gray coloring
A lot of the puzzles dont make real world sense. Why are there bolt cutters hidden in this statue?
Basic puzzle solving
Emotional effect did not work, but good effort
Would like to have seen another area or 2

There is something to say about modern game design. Games are more accessible, fun and a lot easier to navigate. However, there are a lot of players and developers who cherish, if that’s the proper term, that old school look and feel. Avernum Escape from the Pit does not disappoint those fans. Its old school in every way from its look, broken mathematics, terrible inventory management, and world navigation. What is painful are these are all minor and fixable flaws that take away the strengths and add dozens upon dozens of unnecessary hours to the game and ultimately ruins your experience.

Avernum Escape from the Pit is an isometric party RPG that from my understanding is a remake of an earlier Spiderweb title, Avernum 6. The story begins with you and 3 other characters that are tossed into the underground world of Avernum for crimes unknown against the empire. Your main objective is to escape, but other game ending objectives become available later in the game. The story, writing and quests design border on excellent and are easily the highlight for your long adventure.

Avernum is built on a very recognizable RPG level up system with points which are distributed through common statistics, skill and traits trees. As I said earlier the mathematics in the game are broken in such a way a character editor is attached so you can basically max out a character from the start. I did not use the editor until the end where I just had had enough. My party consisted of a tank (sword/shield), tank (pole weapons), Mage (archer), and priest (Archer). I would be confident in any RPG that this party is common and can succeed, but after many failures near the end and reading forum posts, specific character builds, not recommended, are it seems required in order to successfully finish the game. That is unacceptable but makes sense why an editor is attched.

Battles in Avernum are turn based in which the true pain is highlighted. At the onset you will be highly overwhelmed in such a way enemies will hit what feels like 100% of the time while your main characters, no matter how you have them built, will be lucky to hit at 45%. I must have uninstalled and reinstalled the game half a dozen times it is so infuriating. What’s weird is around level 12 you start to feel somewhat capable, but then it all comes crashing back down around level 21. The inconsistences grow as you continue to get deeper in the game. If you are in a dungeon you at least have a fighting chance but out in the open where you can get surrounded, luck, potions, and a healthy healer is your only salvation. As a side note I started the game on hard difficulty as I do with all games, but seeing those statistics and constant early failures I dropped down to normal. I would like to say it made a difference, but not much.

I spent over 100 hours in Avernum and I can’t think of a game that has made me more frustrated. Its complete broken character builds, mathematics and reliance to remain ‘old-school’ doesn’t help build an audience but keeps them away. Until I hear Spiderweb, who just celebrated 20 years in the business, address some modern design into their games, I’ll look elsewhere to spend my RPG time.

Positives
*The world, story and writing are very good. It’s very reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poeish in the description of places and people.
*Quest design is excellent.
*Great couch/ Laptop game never used a mouse.

Negatives
*Reliance on keeping old school mentality dooms the ability to grow an audience
*If you release a character editor chances are the mathematics from your character builds, to enemy AI is broken.
*No fast travel. There is some minor fast travel but I still figure 20+ hours is running around from place to place. Especially when trying to figure out a quest. The absolute #1 thing that needs implemented.
*Shops don’t replenish goods. One of the most, if not most important potions, is frenzy where it increases your AP for a number of rounds. Because of the size of the world and number of quests, if you use them during some minor battles, when you get to the dragon fights or bosses at the end good luck if you are out.
*Inventory as it has no effect for weight, unless worn, should be shared and have a sort button.
*The loot is very weak. Because this is a dungeon crawler in 2015(released last year) loot should be awesome and your character should mirror that aesthetic, not remain static.
*Because of the graphical fidelity sometimes loot is hard to see on the screen. An added button to highlight interactive objects would fix this problem. It didn’t bother me, but I know others have complained of the static camera.
*A hit chance of 95% cannot =70%
*Why are there not hidden passages at the end of a dungeon to go straight to the exit or at least a short cut?
*Speech options remain even if you have used them
*One of your main Mage and Priest abilities is to conjure a minion. They are completing useless and are nothing more than a distraction to enemies.

Stop reading this. Seriously, Stop it. See that "BUY" button? Click it. Buy it. Now. Thats it. Enjoy, You've just taken the steps to becoming a beter gamer and human being.
Ok, still not convinced? How about Pysconaughts, Meat Circus and those roofs in Waterloo withstanding, is one of the best gaming experiences EVER. Brilliant, yes brilliant, in design, levels, charcters, story, voice work. How has this not gotten a sequel, how has Pixar not approached DF for the rights, or DF seek out Pixar? Dont worry those will be just some of the questions you ponder along with how underrated is Tim Schaffer and DF?
There is a saying, especially as you grow older, they just dont make em like that anymore. Its not really the case for games however, but for Pysconughts as with other herealded classics like HL2 and Portal there never was anything like them before or has there been anything like them sense. Truly lightning in a bottle moment for the developers and magic for those who get to enjoy.

Fans of the Uncharted, Tomb Raider games along with the Indiana Jones and the Mummy movie serie will undoubtley find a lot of action sequences, locales, quotes and other similarities that will bring back great memories of so called franchises. Unfortuantly for all its similarity its lack of having a lead actor with any personailty drowns out its ability to carve out its own identity along with some design execution that makes Deadfall merely just a good game that only fans of such series would enjoy.
In the game you play as adventurer James Quatermain who is hired by a former colleuge to retrieve an artificat, the heart of atlantis. You globe trott from Egyptian pyramids, to the artic and finally to the jungles of the Mayan ruins during your adventure. Along the way you will battle nazis(Hate those guys), undead zombies, and some hired guns but that pretty much is the extent of enemies.
As for gameplay there is basic FPS action which is solid, though enemy AI has limited movement and at times the game can feel like its on rails. When battling mummies and the undead you will revert to Alan Wake comabt of using a flashlight to burn them so they become vulnerable to weapons. Wepons are era based from dual pistols and shotguns, to MP40, rocket launcher, and assortment of other machine guns. The wepons all sound, look, and feel good and the reloading animation is quality. When not fighting your way to the next checkpoint there are numerous puzzles to solve. This is by far the weakest element of the game as they are very difficult and in some cases make no sense. i would challenge anyone to try and solve every puzzle without a waltkthru, they are that obtuse. Deadfall has a lot going for it, unfortunantley it doesnt all come together but with such limited adventure chocices for PC players, its worth putting on your fedora, shootoing nazis and looking for treasure. That never gets old.

Positives
Excellant level design, enviroments and graphics
Solid FPS shooter action
Lead actress is the star
Mine cart level-Spectacular

Negatives
Feels like Modders first game
hero cant jump or swim
Very easy game even on hardest difficulty setting
No personailty
Lack of enemies
Puzzles can be basic to huh?
Terrible AI
Predictable storyline
