Highly recommended. Well worth the price and a great experience.
If you feel the game is too forgiving or too difficult, the settings can be tweaked.
Overall, a great single-player survival game for a solid price-tag that is sure to only improve with time.

That being said, the game is still in early development. You WILL encounter bugs- however, the developer is highly responsive to bug reports via the Steam discussions page OR their Discord.

With every update, things are fixed, mechanics are adjusted (for the better), and quality of life improves.
As long as the pace keeps up, this game is on par to be a mainstay for the survival genre.

Great sound atmosphere, easy to learn mechanics without getting boring, decent gameplay loop for a cook/serve game.
If you wanna grind, go for max stars.
10/10 would buy again.

Shadow Warrior 2 definitely has a...particular kind of humor to it. Without a doubt, you'll be able to see whether this sort of style is for you or not. Most of the dialog and cutscenes can be skipped passed if the story-line of the game doesn't catch your eye.

Mechanically, the game is super enjoyable from a Borderlands perspective. Loads of weapons for you to try out, millions of upgrade combinations you can use to change the way the weapon behaves, and tons of different skills for you to level to make you exploration of the game easier.

If you enjoy the gore-y-ness of things like DOOM and Bulletstorm, you will definitely enjoy Shadow Warrior 2!

As a MASSIVE fan of the Rougelite genre, I would highly recommend Hades. The unique weapons, upgrade system, and combat mechanics always keep the game fun and interesting. If you're not into the lore of the game or just don't like lots of dialog in general, you can still play the game just the same skipping through the major cutscenes. However, that being said, the voice acting in the game is spectacular as well!
10/10 would buy again!

If you're looking for a rougelike that doesn't make your head spin with options, Streets of Rogue is your game.
With nearly infinite replayability, Streets of Rogue adds new elements to the game that you unlock through natural progression.
A divine mixture of absurdity and finesse, this game is guaranteed to make you think outside the box at every turn.
