If you haven't heard much about this game, it's pretty hard. You'll spend a lot of time retrying and practicing boss fights

For $20 though? It's more than worth it even if you end up just playing it for a few hours. This game is so well-made and is really unique

The character builds and gunplay are fantastic, I wish every borderlands game could retroactively be like this one.
Some of the dialogue is embarrassing to listen to but you play these kinds of games to just shoot ♥♥♥♥, and it definitely lets you have a good time doing that!
If it's on sale buy immediately. If you liked BL2 or TPS, this one's gameplay more than makes up for its eh story

This game is solid, overall it's just a good, fun video game!

I might be down to yiik if the full game fixes the bugs in this demo, mainly the unresponsive UI

I don't think I've played a survival roguelike before so this was pretty fun. Fast-paced, and you get better at the game really quickly

Phew that was a long 20 hours.
The game was really good though. Regardless of your experience with Half Life, this is a fun, challenging shooter.
I will say though that it can drag on sometimes, and some enemies are ridiculously tough if the difficulty is on hard. So just lower the difficulty when you get further in the game, because some parts are more annoying than fun due to how many enemies you fight in a row.

It's not good, but it kinda is

Combat's rather boring and the gameplay is pretty dull, and some bosses are FREAKIN BS, but the characters and story so far are nice, innocent, and funny sometimes. I have chuckled a few times while reading the dialogue, I will admit.

It feels like there's a lot to do- there's this whole dungeon customization thing that I haven't tried to understand- but in reality the gameplay is pretty straightforward and extremely predictable.

It's a cozy game. No one so far has been murdered, there's no blood, no intense conflicts, no super-sexual things, no traumatic backstories. Just boring combat, nice music, and light-hearted entertaining characters.

My experience with this was playing solo:

First of all it's free so hey why not, but the art is nice and the environments look fantastic. The music as well, pretty good and nice to have playing.

The combat is satisfying, you really kill the crap out of things.
But I don't get MMOs so it got kinda boring, maybe that's how they all are when you start out idk.

As for the community, not too sure how it REALLY is but I chatted up a couple people and they were friendly enough
