It breaks my heart that this game just crashes after the intros on every graphical setting that I asked for a refund. May buy again at a later time.

It doesn't work.

The help guide says it is supposed to detect when music is playing on your computer, even Spotify, yet nothing happens...?

Requesting a refund for this DUD.

I have been a Halo fan since the beginning. I'm talking original Xbox that shipped with Halo:CE. I've read the novels, collected the comics, preordered every game, got the costume and helmet... the 117 cap and even that expensive backpack on the MS merch store.

That being said, I am convinced that this game is not made for me. This isn't the Halo I grew up with. It's gone a completely wrong direction story-wise. It's a quiet, lifeless, EMPTY GAME. There's no spirit left.

It's as if 343 Industries HATE Halo, or hate their older fan base.

At the time of writing this review there are only 1136 people playing in-game on the Steam platform.

Campaign is a wide open space you walk everywhere, and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy to finish 100% completion. It is absolutely NOT worth the price for campaign.

Multiplayer is repetitive grind. You don't earn your skins, you must pay for them all extra in stupid ripoff "featured shop bundles." Multiplayer Seasons don't make sense to me. I don't understand why they introduced alternate universes or some crap in MP but it completely turned me off.

Where's the HALO? Where's the fight for humanity's survival? Earth? I'm convinced the devs wish they were working on a totally different game and started introducing irrelevant trash to reflect that!

Sorry 343, after 21 years, you have lost yet another fan. But that was your intention, wasn't it? You hate people like me: the older/original fan.

Devs worked hard for a month after release to get Ray-Tracing working. I have changed my review from negative to positive.

Just restarted a new game after the major 1.52 updates. Got a RTX3090, crank the graphics to psycho level and man it's a good game now

Clunky, SLOW, prone to crashes, terrible folder navigation.
Cannot sort files in folder whatsoever.
Layout is not user friendly - Thumbnail previews of videos are usually for the WRONG VIDEO and can never read entire filename to know what video it actually is without playing.

Too many frustrating things like this cannot allow me to review this app positively

If you like Medieval II: Total War but always wished to be 1st person in the battles then THIS is the game for you!

If you liked Mount & Blade: Warband, then you'll LOVE this. It's the same principle with better features and graphics.

Good old Pirates game with the mechanics of Mount & Blade

I bought it at release in 2013 with the physical disk and it was an incomplete mess with 80% downloaded anyway after initial instal. I gave it another chance and kept on buying the DLC's and it slowly became towards completion.

The campaigns are badly designed and the controls are extremely clunky. The terrain is bad to be prone. I was prone on a rock and only saw straight up, not forward. There are missions that require certain weapons like sniper but they are not in your inventory at the start so the mission is pretty much over before it begins. There are other missions where you must escape but helicopters shoot you down anyway no matter how far you drive or run. Terrible design. It's supposed to be set on a Greek island yet the people are not Greek. "Stavros" voice actor's accent is not Greek at all, but slavic.

Multiplayer is dead and not working for me and my location. All servers are empty or I get kicked off immediately for unknown reasons.

I cannot recommend this game. It is incomplete and broken in my opinion. The graphics and sound are great, and the immersion of realism are the only good points in this game. The fact that multiplayer for me is broken is also the last straw. They should stop making DLC's for a dead game. I've wasted too much money into this game.

This game makes you think creatively in this survival crash land - build a base - defend from pirates - try to build a ship to leave - kind of game.

It has elements of Dwarf Fortress, mixed in with Stardew Valley and Terraria/Minecraft base-building and resource gathering in a "Firefly-esc" feel to it. Kind of like a Space Western genre where you're shipwrecked on a harsh planet.

It's a fantastic game with a playground of unlimited plays. Each time will be different. 10/10
