I've played this game since it was just an engine builder with no exporting at all.

I've in that time, seen many false promises. Superchargers have been promised since that time. We might be getting them close to a decade later.

Each update to this game somehow makes it worse. In recent times they've stopped beta testing patches before release on occasion, despite having many people willing to beta test.

The development team has also gotten completely stuck up their own rear ends. Many of my friends have been banned from the AutomationGame discord for attempting to assist with the game or identify problems.

They ignore the bug reports section unless its to argue with the person reporting the bug.

I was banned from the AutomationGame discord server, for pointing out problems with a tire patch they had released, only for it to be patched the next week. They have very easily bruised egos.

They spied on their own communities discord servers, with alt accounts, recording peoples voice chats to attempt to catch them breaking rules. We found this out when they sent some of those recordings, of us, to us.

The game developers refuse to recognize this game was at its all time highest popularity when the BeamNG Exporter was released, and refuse to give it the support it needs. It is bloated and inefficient, with Automation cars taking far too many resources too run, multiplayer racing becomes an arduous uphill battle with this in mind.

They only focus on the Campaign, which is a glorified spreadsheet on meth. They do not care for their community as a whole and tend to disregard even the most vetted members of it.

Ive even slowly begun writing a program to make the cars less laggy so that our racing events can go on. While I do so AutomationGame has been removing more tunability and accessibility for racing events.

This game has so many memory leaks for a while it was thought the simulator was undeterministic. (EDIT: Turns out they're likely not memory leaks causing these issues. Its fundamental problems in the core logic calculating values in the game. Bad data management essentially. Things not being reset correctly, possibly bad state management, or bad logic surrounding the handling of data calculations.)

Most if not all of the development team is unfamiliar with the mechanics of a car. Some have claimed to be race car drivers and found out to have been lying. Some have claimed to work on their cars, sending pictures of clean hands with brand new parts, but of no actual work.

One particular dev, threatens legal action to people in his community at seemingly every opportunity given. We had a racing series that offered small amounts of money to those who won races, and they wanted to Nintendo us.

They've threatened me and my friends with legal action for various reasons many times. To the point we've considered actually suing them for the distress.

If you're thinking about playing this game, understand there is no replacement for it, but the developers do not care about YOU.

They care about their own egos and perceptions from those few in their discord who suck their ♥♥♥♥♥. If you are not one of those people, the more you speak the more limited your time becomes.

Its currently in early access, but the features it provides are great and the bugs aren't a mess to deal with.

Pros:

Lots of car tuning and customization, though some options can be limited.
Making a good car does feel rewarding
Custom paints and decals
You can blow up your car by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up a build.
You can skip in game time to refresh the dealership
Cool damage simulation that actually impacts parts and drivability.
You can literally build the ENTIRE car.

Cons:
RWD Cars are very oversteery and if you're going too fast spinning out is easy.
If you finish a race while holding NOS, it will continue to drain your NOS until you start another race and toggle NOS again.
Repairing cars with the hammers takes an exceedingly long time.
Lack of content or story
Some building glitches or inconsistency's (Like a car running without all the proper engine parts)
Some cars in the drag race will be incredibly fast despite having not nearly enough power to be so fast. (250HP 4 door coupe running 10's in the quarter mile)

Overall, for this niche , Im a huge fan and hope it goes much farther. 7/10 early release.
