This game is hard to learn hard to master but so much fun and so rewarding.

This is probably the pinnacle of games I would refer to as "gun simulators" there are games that simulate weapon jamming like Scum and Far Cry 2, there are games that simulate weapons in VR like Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, but no game goes this in depth with a fully physics based fully mechanically realized pistol with every operation mapped to a key.

having to fix something like a double feed being about as complex as a long juggling combo in Street Fighter to pull back the slide, lock it in place, drop the mag, pull back the slide a few times, insert the mag, and chamber a round, and for extra credit, activate the safety, pull out the mag, hold ~ to be extra careful holstering your weapon, fill your mag back up with bullets, pull the gun back out, insert the mag, then check the chamber, and disable the safety to safely get your +1 bullet. Each of those actions being its own button press. Its so fun and so satisfying once you get all of those actions down to muscle memory.

Then each of the enemies being fully damage modeled, different parts of each drone or turret having each spot on their bodies armored or breakable, you can shoot out the camera, the sensor, bend the barrel, break the motor, break the tazer, break the rotor guards, snap the tail off, or hack and disable them by hand.

Past that it's basically a stealth FPS with some unsettling aspects, surprises, and jumpscares with some similarities to The Matrix and The Twilight Zone in its story.

Some people complain that all you're fighting is turrets which I might agree with somewhat but at the same I time I really like the way that differentiates this game from others and gives it a cool "unnatural enemy" sort of vibe. Others complain that each loss puts you back to the previous level which again I agree that its frustrating but would also say that it adds a real consequence for failure. This game is not easy and it is not forgiving. You will get frustrated and you will rage quit after getting to the last level only to die 4 times and go all the way back to the beginning. But once you get your Reciever training down, it still won't be easy, but you'll get there.

Truthfully this game isn't for everyone, but if what I've said sounds cool to you you're going to love it. If it doesn't, you'll probably hate it. I'd imagine this game will be very polarizing in that way.
