It is with great pleasure that I am now editing my review and recommending this game. Sony is no longer requiring the account linking going forward. Major order completed. The automatons at Sony headquarters have been defeated.

ANOTHER VICTORY FOR THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY.

I've played the game since release, and honestly shadowkeep release so far has felt like curse of osiris. I have nothing left to do but to wait for content and none of the current content is that exciting. It's pretty butthole so far, and probably the worst experience possible for new players as well. Kinderguardians are thrown into the fire without a hint of what they should be doing. They have to talk to an NPC that's out of the way to even do the old campaigns. On top of all that they still have to buy forsaken which is a HUGE chuck of content with loads of amazing weapons. Bungie probably thought they wouldnt get any new players on release so they didn't even care to think about them. The guns in shadowkeep are not all that interesting except for a few. However, there really isn't anything new. The exotics are extremely lackluster. There 1 new exotic armor piece for each class and only 3 exotic weapons available at the moment. One being a world drop and an old exotic and the other 2 are from quests (one of which is locked behind the raid). The other 2 exotics in the expansion aren't even released yet.

The vex offensive event is extremely lackluster as well. You need to do a small quest on the moon before being able to access it which involves killing vex gate lords from vex invasions on the Moon. However, they seem to have a decently rare chance of spawning. I waited a little over half hour for one to spawn which is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous when it's to unlock a small piece of content being the Vex Offense. The Vex Offense itself is an extremely toned down and lackluster menagerie. You get a lot of loot drops which is nice and all but you don't get any upgrades for light level outside of weeklies and all the guns are not that interesting.

There's almost no reason in using any of the new weapons when all the forsaken content is still extremely dominant. Which is sad for new players since they don't even get forsaken.

I have no idea why the reviews are still "mostly positive". I suppose people are too busy riding bungalos ♥♥♥♥ because they left Activision as if it makes a shred of difference for the game itself.

Do yourself a favor and save your money until more content comes out and bungo fixes their ♥♥♥♥.

That aside pvp feels a lot better I guess.

When I first started this game I was really excited to play because of all the good things that were said about it. Especially after the monstrosity that is Dark souls 2. It obviously had a lot of problems, but also introduced a lot of cool new feature Thankfully Dark souls 3 has fixed most of those issues. Dark souls 3 really feels like a dark souls game to me, which dark souls 2 didn't. The classic firelink shrine is back as well as plenty of others like Anor Londo. I enjoyed playing through the pve part of the game and loved what it had to offer. That is until i started to fiddle with the pvp. The pvp is an absolute clown fiesta. Your either going to have a blast or your going to be punting your dog across the room out of sheer anger. The latency can get pretty annoying and you will get hit by something that clearly didn't hit you. Parrying is also a lot easier now and hornet ring is back. But every game has its downsides. One downside to this installment is poise. The poise stat is still there but it no longer does anything. Instead we have something known as "hyper armor". Which is basically just i-frames in which you cannot be staggered. A lot of really heavy weapon's attacks have hyperarmor. This can be looked at as a good thing or a bad thing. Personally I like the concept but dislike that poise is literally a useless stat. Another downside is obviously the netcode for pvp. The netcode is probably the worst it has been in all of the dark souls. Pvping is really just complete ♥♥♥♥ compared to the other because of how bad the netcode is. It basically forces FROM to nerf certain op pvp weapons because they are unable to fix the core mechanics of the game. I've still got some enjoyment out of it though. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this game if you enjoyed any of the others. Goodluck out there and have fun.

When it comes down to it, this game really isn't that great. Its just a giant farm/grind fest. There really is nothing fun about the game itself. Sure its fun to ♥♥♥♥ around with a couple buddies, but thats really the only fun it it. You have to spend a bunch of hours to farm for 1 weapon. Next, you have to wait 12-24 hours for that weapon to be build. Then once you have it built you must level it to 30 in order to get the full potential of the weapon, and sometimes those weapons need forma to reach full potential. So now you have to level it 3-6 more times.( Not to mention getting all the mods and leveling all the necessary mods). I have spent over 1500+ hours playing this game, grinding my ass off mindlessly while hanging out with friends or listening to music, if I have nothing else to do. If thats what you are looking for, then it's definitely worth the try. Although one thing I must mention is that it has some pretty nice graphics for a free game,
