Only 10 hours played while writing this, haven't progressed far, but I still want to say something about Outlast 2...

(FYI I played both Outlast 1 and Whistleblower DLC before, finished 100%)

This game is way scarier than Outlast 1 and here's why:
1. You are outside, there is a lot of space, more space = more panic while being chased, cause you never know which way is the correct way.
2. Your character can get exhausted, so you cannot run forever like in Outlast 1 and just outpace everyone, here you have to be smart about your decisions of when to run and when not to.
3. Microphone: In some situations night-vision will not help you. In some you have to use both, which takes a lot of energy from your batteries.
4. More options for hiding: A broken tree, a (red) barrel (sometimes filled with water), a locker, underwater, there are so many places that you can hide in to save your life, I like how this is so varied.
5. Main enemies: Alright, Chris Walker, Dr. Trager, Gluskin and Walrider were very scary, but Martha, the Heretics and the Believers (or whatever they are called, the ones that live in the villages) took it to a whole new level, sometimes when they appeared i was shaking my hands with fear, which didn't happen once in the first game.
6. Storyline: This one is pretty even, both games had a great storyline.
7. Main character: In outlast 2 Red Barrels gave our protagonist an actual voice, heck - whole dialogs which really helped the whole thread with memories of Jessica. Speaking of which...
8. The thread with Jessica: Not gonna spoil, you gotta see it for yourself, but I was really amazed with all the transitions to Blake's school times (they always surprised me) and it felt quite nostalgic being able to hide in the lockers or run through corridors again. Good job with that Red Barrels!
9. Music: What can I say - Insane as always.
10. Graphics: ^ + Better fluid physics.
11. Gore: Even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up than the first game, which surprised me, i didn't know you can go even further than that.
12. The game takes a long time to finish, It won't just take 1-2 hours (as you can see by my record lol).
13. Crosses everywhere...
14. In Outlast 1 there was a rule - when you see a document you cannot get hurt, no-one will chase you. However it doesn't apply to the sequel, here you can get chased everywhere, even if you see a collectible...

Overall Outlast 2 gets a whopping 9.8/10, definetly worth the price, one of the best survival-horrors out there (if not the best, tbf the only competition it has is Resident Evil 7, but Outlast just barely beats it, becuase of a non-combat feature) and I really hope Outlast 3 will be released any time soon (Please developers). Thank you Red Barrels for giving me a heart attack everytime I play it. Love you all, keep making great games in the future.

(If I made some grammatical mistakes, I'm sorry, English is not my first language xP)

Pros:

1. Addicting af.
2. Skill ceiling is incredibly high.
3. Great fun with friends.
4. Reasonably frequent updates + season rewards.
5. Millions of different ways to customize your car.
6. Great DLC's, that aren't pay-to-win.
7. Trading is well advanced.
8. Not just car football, but also - Car football with powerups, car hockey, car basketball and "Dropshot" (would take too long to explain)
9. A ♥♥♥♥ ton of maps.
10. Events.
11. Not a part of the actual game, but free programs that help a lot - BakkesMod (modding and useful stuff + not 100% stable client-sided item changing feature) and AlphaConsole (Stable client sided item changing feature + modded items).
12. A big bunch of server regions to choose from.
13. Custom Training and free play.
14. Workshop maps.
15. Advanced replay feature.
16. It's a very rewarding game if you get good at it (Compared to FIFA for example)

Cons:

1. Matchmaking system sometimes goofs up (slightly lower ranks might come up against much higher people), but it's a very rare occassion.
2. Toxicity in the mid-ranks (gold-platinum and might also consider Diamond) is immense, playing with constant buddies recommended.
3. Solo standard - why is this even a thing? No one likes it xD
4. Very rare server problems (at least in my case).

Overall score - 9.5/10 - I would've given it a max score if not for the matchmaking mis-matching and slight server problems, but these situations are rare enough for me to drop just a .5 off the whole score.

Value for money - 11/10 - $20 for possibly one of the best (if not the best) multiplayer games out there??? Absolute bargain.
