Will YIP Again.

I'm going to echo a few sentiments here and say this game is written by people who do not understand factory automation game play. But the idea, of factory automation game play.

And for some reason, though laser tag was worth an entire update increment.
It was a huge, total miss, and this is whats to be expected from the developer.

It's...not fun.
Boring, bland.

For reference:
500+ hours in Satisfactory.
1590 in Factorio.
330 in Dyson sphere program.

Factory automation is my type of game, this would be, my type of game.
You go on the shelf for now. Maybe I'll see you again in 1.0.

A very interactive team oriented game.

TLDR:
Mainstory: 8/10 - Well told story, can be kind of trope-ish.
Gameplay 9/10 - Freelancer style controls, Diablo RNG loot system. Face paced high speed.
Music: 10/10 - Great musical score, very relaxing, or intense depending on the situation.
Visuals: 7/10 - Some textures and things seem almost cartoonish. I think with DX12 and the engine, some more detail and variation in the rocks in space, and planet surfaces we encounter could get an overhaul later?

Played since EA came out in segments as development progressed, with 151 hours of play time as the time of writing.

Everspace 2 is a fantastic combination of several game play loops:
- Main story progression. Explore-upgrade-progress.
- Mine\Resource Gather > Craft > Upgrade.
- Mission > Rep.+ > Reward +

It combines several of the fun RNG item drop system such as you'd expect in say, Diablo, with a heart of classic freelancer, with out the depth of say, X4. (Sorry, no station building.)

If your looking for a freelancer style space game, this game will not leave you disappointed!

By far one of the best in the series so far. 5 hours of play down, and the surprises never end!
The levels are unique, and rich with full changes to subtle shifts as to what to look out for while you're on duity.

Fantastic horror. Great artwork, reasonable puzzles to solve. A genuinely good game.

-Super Casuial Eliet Dangerous Lite??
-Great Periodic table simulator - Get that Carbon!
-Buy another game you want instead. Subnautica, or ARK.

Cons:
None of the features described to by Sean are in the game, this game has endless potential. But instead was released with a AAA price tag, and lacking everything that made it sound like it was worth $60.

Out of this world! An entirely new experience that feels like it was sold. I was taken through the various game loops, able to do whatever I felt like acomplishing at the time. It's all here, and it's all pretty good! Good job! This game is great!

By far the best game I've played this year. Period.

This game has unlocked so many emotions that I thought I'd never feel since Final Fantasy 6 and 7. There are so many decisions, and the goofy combat system.

If you have $10, consider passing on that McDonald's meal your about to buy, and treat your self to this instead. Your SOUL will thank you.
