The part of where the texture should appear differently is here: https://i.imgur.com/IFsil4j.png - Note that I can also see some differences on how the Medic's shadows appear on his arms, and so on, because I have seen these player models so many times that I can notice the tiny things.
One way to do so as well, is to compare both on the model view with the same exact camera settings, if you know how to adjust them via the Half-Life Model Viewer: https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Help:Model_Viewer#Registry

Only at Lod 2 though, what could cause this?
The textures being incorrect were small, but still problematic as some cosmetics rely on "merging" with the default models. It would mostly be changes how the lighting would bounce on the player models too.
The bones being misaligned is a problem, because it can cause cosmetic clipping with the default model. This happened with me several times with different versions of Crowbar when trying to recompile the Heavy model, even with 0 changes (decompile from the original files -> recompile).
Try loading the Borscht Belt, and check the LODs. See if it looks fine and dandy compared to the heavy.mdl model in the game right now.
