only good half life game (just finished all of them, including 2)

Edit edit edit: they rolled back the psn change. I fully recommend the game.

Edit: it’s delisted in those counties and refunds are issued, so I’m back to recommending for those who can play and don’t care about psn.

Sony has decided that they will update their various Eula and tos to require people to make a psn account to play. Besides the obvious, ‘♥♥♥♥ Sony and their data-hungry practices, I don’t trust them at all’ and the ‘now that everyone is linked to a psn, Sony can (and will) ban people over arrowhead’s head for anything they choose to make outside their code of conduct. If you’ve seen Microsoft’s code of conduct, for example, you can lose lifetime access to a game you payed for my saying a curse word over the mic.
Finally, there’s also, psn is outlawed in roughly half the world and making a psn account would break the tos. Combined with the Sony super ban hammer, and they are essentially stealing the cost of product for everyone outside Sony’s psn network. Including all of China, Philippines, India.

This is the last Sony product I will ever buy. ♥♥♥♥ that corp, it takes magic to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than Microsoft but by golly they’re really going for it.

For all the comments on the world building and atmosphere, I think the core reason this game is so good - and it is, so good - is because the gunplay is awesome. Everything feels crisp and weighty, and all the mechanics work together to make you feel like a real person on the battlefield; slow and vulnerable, but working with intelligence and support, precise and deadly.
Also liberty and democracy. 10/10

First open world survival kind of game to really get me in. Obviously a lot of work left to do, but if the devs just finish the road map, this is my GOTY.

Future Sovietwomble video for its niche on the survival genre, iykyk.
7/10 in its current state for me, with ceiling at a full 10.

Brings you through the highs and lows of human emotion. I currently want to through my pc off my balcony. 9/10.

Cant quite explain it but Civ V scratches a gaming itch that I don't even know I have until I start a game. Once I start a game though, all other hobbies and passions are forgotten until the conclusion of that game. Good modding scene too to keep it all fresh. 10/10 to me.
