If you’re looking for a short but claws-itively charming experience, Zipp's Café is the purr-fect little game to sink your teeth into. This bite-sized visual novel serves up a warm, whisker-tingling story that’s simple yet full of heart—clearly cooked up with love by the talented team at The Wild Gentlemen.

You’ll be soaking in the cozy atmosphere, snappy dialogue, and a beak-load of personality. Every interaction feels like a carefully brewed cup of joe—smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of bitter. The game doesn’t overstay its welcome, keeping things short and sweet like a well-timed catnap.

That said, the gameplay might be a bit too soft boiled—perhaps even a hare too bare-bones. While the dialogue and setting are engaging, some might find themselves wishing for a bit more M.E.A.T on the bone in terms of interactivity. But make no mis-steak—this isn’t just a fluffy one-off. It’s an egg-cellent appetizer before the main course: Chicken Police: Into the Hive! If you’re a fan of the original Chicken Police: Paint It Red, this interlude for Into The Hive adds extra M.E.A.T to the lore without ruffling too many feathers.

In short, Zipp's Café is a hoot, a howl, and a delight from start to finish. It may be small, but it leaves a big paw print on the heart.

"Coffee is like life, son. Bitter and dark. But it's up to you how well you sweeten it."

Came for the noir, stayed for the c0cks. This game is owlsome and never a birden to go through fowly for the 10 hour length. Many parts are eggciting even if the gameplay is a fairly simple point and peck. I definitely quacked up more than once at all the interactions between characters with hawksome voice-actors and direction. Very little ruffled my feathers even if at one point I knew just where the story was heading. I can't stop raven about this game to my flock of friends. Cluck, it was an eggperience and I can't wait for the next.

At worst, the character art design was hawkward but at least they had tails and tailfeathers. All in all, it was a flocking good game. would recommend.
