No spoilers in this review.

Great atmosphere and pacing. There's no grind involved to finish the story. To make progress you have to explore and take risks. Doing so feels very rewarding and there's always more to discover. There are definitely some scary and awe-inspiring moments.

I recommend survival mode and not hardcore because there are still a few bugs here and there and there's no auto-save feature. Most issues are minor and solved by restarting the game.

You also should play with some mods like EasyCraft and Map (on nexusmods) because those definitely improve the experience.

Overall a 9/10 for me.

Here's what I liked about Titanfall 2.

The campaign, which is a mix between pilot (foot soldier) combat, titan combat and platform was solid. The guys at Respawn created an interesting world and the gameplay is quite varied.

PvP has its moments. It has very fast-pace, intense skirmishes and the switch between pilot and titan gameplay adds variety. There are a few Titans to choose from and each titan can be customised both in terms of visuals and perks affecting the game.

Now here's what made write a negative review for peopel buying this in 2020/2021:
- I had issues launching the game because of Origin. With both Steam and origin launchers running (and up-to-date), the game simply doesn't launch most of the time.
- there is only 1 active PvP mode and the matchmaking can take a long time before throwing you, a beginner, against people who've clocked hundreds of hours.
- the maps don't feel like a battlefield where you push to gain ground. The only goal is to kill as much stuff (AI or players) as possible. COD with mechs and aerial kills is not as enjoyable as it sounds.
- the PvE is a huge disappointment. The multi-player is over-rated in general but it's especially true for the PvE part. It's very bland: defend this glowing stuff against x waves of enemies! Wow... And the AI is absolutely awful, it's actually sad.

More detailed and polished than the previous title. Weapons sound and feel great, PvP and PvE are both fun. The different PvP modes don't play the same so there's a bit of everything for everyone. Customisation is a nice addition.

To me Sandstorm strikes the right balance between Simulation and Action. It doesn't suffer from the flaws of games like Rising Storm or RedOrchestra. Those games take too long to learn and rely too heavily on the coordination between complete strangers who mostly don't use their mics. But this is not a problem in Sandstorm because it's more laid back and the rounds are much faster.

If you happen to play on a server where players communicate and plan their attack/defense, this is the most fun you can have for 10 bucks with your pants on. Very immersive, too. The Pacific theatre maps are my favorite.

This game is not dead at all. Never failed to find an active server.

Great fun in coop with friends if you like WW2 era shooters.

I wanted to give this a chance but unfortunately the game doesn't run on Windows 10 for me. yes i've tried the community patches and fixes, and launching the game in compatibility mode.

I'm usually not a "completionist" type of player but Shadow of War hooked me. The gameplay and the difficulty are thought out to be fun, challenging and rewarding. Despite a few boring and unoriginal quests, I loved growing Talion into an unstoppable orc-killing machine, building up fortresses and armies. It's a good mix of action with a just enough of strategy.

Funny and addictive. A good mix of macro and micro-management. It has a lot of depth: staff management with skill training and individual traits, pay, specializations, task assignments, room and hospital design, machine upgrades, marketing and entertainment for patients and staff, etc.

I haven't touched the sandbox mode, mods or the DLC yet, but I will because I love this so much.

Highly recommended.

No pay to win. Gameplay reminds me of CoD Modern Warfare 2, good memories. Haven't had any ''holy sh this stuff is broken'' moment so far. It's a fun game to frag on but it didn't invent anything, it's a bit boring and soul-less.

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 580 and my framerate averages 80 fps on medium settings. This is a problem, because the game isn't that good-looking... Multiplayer fps need stable performance so I hope they'll fix this..
