It's mostly fine.

Can be extremely frustrating when the flying high damage high health mimics that can spawn seemingly anywhere kill you and break your ♥♥♥♥.
You need your equipment not broken to do half the actions in game, so.
Might get stuck in a loop of heading back and forth between low level enemy camps and shops to farm cash to buy and fix and upgrade your items. At least you can heal for free at campfires, but doing so respawns enemies.
For a looter shooter, I'm not seeing any significant difference between the weapon copies I'm finding. Maybe 1 or 2 points of damage. Also every weapon you pick up becomes part of your weapon wheel scroll.

Looking forward to updates. I sure hope they happen because Golden Light is great, but I always thought it was, even before all those updates.

Probably the best detective style imsim right now? Bugs will find you, and may even ruin your game. But early access. Content updates and bug fixes have been consistent.
