Played this game not just once in the past but again recently in preparation for the sequel and it's probably one of my favorite murder mystery VNs I've ever played next to the Zero Escape series (which you should also play) and Phoenix Wright series (which you should also play)

It's right in your ballpark if you've been a fan of those series already including Danganronpa (both creators developed this after all!)- the twists are what I argue are just as good as the ones presented in Zero Escape, I remember feeling my mental jaw dropping once I understood what was happening, this game is so good at making you feel satisfied for figuring out what happened)

The storytelling is told extremely well in a way that you are given so much information but nothing connects until you get near to the very end- and I recommend after you're done to watch someone else play or play through it yourself a second time, as it's a completely different experience once you know what's happening!!

Obviously like with these types of games, you should go into this game knowing as little as you can

Also I think with how much it's being put out there I hope it serves as a gateway to zero escape lmAo even though both games are astounding in their own right

The only knocks I give it is that sometimes the tonal shift between serious and weird/typical anime happen a bit often, but that's kind of expected if you're already familiar with Uchikoshi's games lmao so please don't let that put you off
