Comfy underground exploration game that combines aspects of Terraria with Stardew Valley! Playing solo is nice, but playing with friends is great.

Now then, the game still has its issues such as the devs' methodology of balancing weapons, which is releasing good weapons and then nerfing them. It's a constant cycle and frankly I wish just leave some weapons be. They should focus less on nerf and just buffing stuff so that everything is good. We don't need patch notes looking like League of Legends'.

Aside from that, it's fun game and proves that live service can be done right.

I assume you heard about the game, the praises its received, seen the clips on Youtube, et cetera et cetera. I'm not here to repeat what most other people have said already. I'm here to talk about the opening cutscene.

The opening cutscene right after you launch the game is nothing short of incredible. It's so well done to the point of instilling within me a sense of patriotism to join a fictional cause and spread Super Democracy. To reiterate, this fictional propaganda has filled me with the desire to enlist into a fictional military force.

Lobotomy Corporation is a 2D management game. You are responsible for managing the supernatural entities sent to your facilities and the employees you hired each day. When it comes to how difficult the level of management can be, it depends on how you approach it. There are no constant timers to worry about, so you can choose and pick which room to send your employees in for research at your own pace. It's very forgiving, even to the point of providing a Retry option to reset the day. The only way you can lose progress is if you start a new game from day 1. However, you keep all research you've made on the supernatural entities from all your previous runs. As for the research, there are four-five main sections for each entity you research. The more sections you complete, the more of the entity's story/lore is revealed.

There is a story in this game. Naturally it slowly reveals itself after each completion of each day. I've not gotten very far in the story, but it gives off a mystery sort of vibe. You are a newcomer to this facility and there have been previous administrators before you. Angela, the main AI of the facility, will converse with you each day. Occasionally you'll be given options to choose in order to respond to her questions. There are other characters who will do the same. The only flaw about this is the translation, or at least the English. This game was developed in Korea (even the default language will start in Korean), so some sentences may seem odd to read. Overall though, the game is quite good with a lot of replay value due to having a choice of what new entity you can accept each day. No two runs are alike.

When this game first came out, all I heard was that there was barely anything to do and it quickly becomes a snorefest as you play. Playing this now, I can hardly see any reason why. Yes the game barely holds your hand when you begin, but there's a little enjoyment to be had when figuring stuff out on your own. There's proper cooperative, flying the ship and fighting space pirates is exciting, and there's always something interesting to explore on every planet (in my experience so far). It's on sale now and it's well worth the price.

Easy to stay f2p, all cosmetics can be earned if you know how to sell items well on the open trade chat. Beginning is a hassle and linear in progression, but bear with it and you'll start feeling more open about your choices on how to progress further.

This game is so poorly optimized. I have an AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 and a GTX 960, and ran the graphics at Low settings. The lag starts becoming more common once you get into the area of Manhattan. Lags whenever there's many enemy NPCs shooting at you. Even cinematic cutscenes lag.

It wasn't much. No I didn't stay up every single night playing it... only some.

I've only played 44 minutes of this game which is a very short experience, but even then it was a very dull one. Trying to connect to multiplayer servers was just a bit frustrating due to the fact it's difficult to connect to them and I either get a message telling me I couldn't connect or I didn't have the right maps or I just wasn't a friend of the host [using Gameranger].
I hoped Singleplayer would offer me a better time but unfortunately it was simply "Go to Objectives and Shoot The Thing" as far as I know. Combat was very standard, the core basics of any shooter, but didn't offer anything unique aside from different classes that have slightly different weapons such as a rocket launcher or a sniper rifle. However the feedback from shooting felt less than a peashooter. Even when I had the chance to become a Jedi character, the combat didn't feel very compelling.
I feel like a lot of the people who told me that this game was way better than what DICE made were giving Battlefront 2 more credit than it deserved. I'm sure way back then it was a very fantastic shooter for its time, but right now it's very outddated in terms of gameplay.

I'm only 2 hours in and I got my ass kicked by a dead bride because I was too busy being a scrublord. Best preorder money I ever spent.
