Fig.co backer here.

I wish I could say something good about the game (ok, there are Somtaaw fleets, but probably behind the DLC, and just for Wargames mode), but...

This game, when it came out... It's a **COMPLETE MISSION FAILURE**. Yes, there is the support for modern tech, ability to go around in 3D (even use the "terrain" for your advantage), but the campaignm though (the main reason for I've backed the game)... It's not what Homeworld was. It's was an awesome story of journey, and emotions of what we've encountered "on the road". There was nothing of that in the third installment.

I'm afraid, that the IP will go down, like a Mothership hit by the Headshot Asteroid... That's just sad.

Fleet Backer, signing off (for the last time, I hope not).

Had to give a thumb down, due to simple problem:

While launching X4 via GeForce Now, the game DOESN'T detect this DLC, so I couldn't thoroughly test it.

I remember playing GoF 2 on my old Nokia with J2ME...

Now I'm enjoying the "remastered" edition for the Android and PC.

The only problem is, that PC version sorely lacks the expansions...

Fajnie widzieć swojskie naczepy z Wielunia, ale dwie łapki w dół za brak Platform Mastera oraz Container Mastera. Nawet w zamian za Strong Mastera.

It was fun, while it lasted.

Now the servers are dead, but it was fun anyways.

This soundtrack is as unique as the Terran technology in X4; but so far Shining Currents just literally stole my heart.

Soundtrack is top notch from Alexei as usual, yet the Last Farewell track scores the top of my list.

This (along with American Truck Simulator) is the best game to just drive... and drive... and drive, from point A to B. Jobs are only to encourage you to drive. :D

Even through Serbia, Kosovo, rest of the Western Balkans... Can't wait for the Greece :D

I was playing Hacknet outside the Steam mostly, yet with Labirynths DLC, which on Steam I don't have it.

Anyway:

Pros:

  • You can use a mouse to click everything (like ordinary Windows or MacOS user) or use a keyboard to command everything (like a Linux Guru);
  • Soundtrack is great;
  • You can customize your desktop (or just go fully text-mode like a real Linux Guru (in one case, you have to do so);
  • Jobs are well rewarding
  • You can even remotely manipulate with IoT things, including phones, planes* or... even a pacemaker.

Cons:

  • May be a tad difficult for people who just using phones and PC's just to browse the net;
  • SEQUENCER.exe.
  • Best stuff (including a e s t h e t i c . e x e aka HOME - Resonance on soundtrack) requires Labirynths DLC.

If you really need that DLC just for the a e s t h e t i c, there you go:

Well, that's all for now.

Good hacking o/

At first glance, it was an offline equivalent of EVE Online combat mechanics.
Now I'm seeing this game as a closest equivalent of The Expanse.

After so many years, it's still holding on.

Highly recommended to play, since version 1.30 adapts the game for newer systems.
