Great fun up to about level 30 but after that the grind becomes serious. I bought the big Sport DLC pack and found it to be great value as the rods can be used right up to level 30-35.

Played Regular Half Life 2 loads of times, this doesn't really make any noticeable changes, maybe in some specific areas the lighting might be a little different, but up to Red Letter Day I couldn't really see anything that was obviously different.
Save your hard drive space for something else, or put it towards Cinematic Mod, or just stick with the good old original HL2.

Every PC Gamer should own this. One of the greatest games of all time IMO.

Still as awesome as it was at release!
