Great game!
lots of collectables such as ships, perks, upgrades, blueprints, glyphs, subsystems and more. High replay value space orgeon trail game.

Challenging AI:
Normal mode is quite hard, hard mode is brutal but rewarding once you get your flying/evading up to par.

Controller compatible:
Both keyboard and gamepad controls feel very smooth and easy to get used to. Fast paced shootouts will put your skills to the test.

VR compatible:
I don't own VR but for those that do, enjoy!

Beautiful environments:
The stages are awesome, there's a few environmental hazzards as well such as solar radiation/flare blasts or singularities. The ancient stages in my option always look the best, though there are a couple not to far behind that pick as again,
this game is beautiful.

Gameplay:
Sometimes the containers will spawn in very confined or awkward places, nothing a decant pilot can't reach though. Some stages will have almost like little mini challenges to complete for a reward, other stages can have a quest for you as well. Traders and other things can spawn in some stages along your journey too. The AI can seem a bit over the top at first, but once you get used to zippin around and boosting turns it gets a bit easir... Until you play hard mode haha.

Conclusion:
9/10 Only reason I didn't give it 10/10 is because I ran cheat engine all over this game and got most of the stuff quite fast and it ruined the replay value haha. Other than that it's a great game, would highly recommend if you are into space shooter/adventure games.

TL/DR
Go buy this ♥♥♥♥ if you are into space shooters, you won't be dissapointed!

Redout is a great newage throwback to the old F-Zero style racing games. The visuals are amazing, There are 20 tracks across 4 worlds each world having its own beautiful landscape and each track having its own little features to it. The tracks get progressively more difficult as you continue through the game, and there is a steep learning curve for beginners. Recent updates have nerfed the AI in the first couple races but after that it gets pretty hard and fast.

The controls feel a little loose and sloppy at fisrt but you get used to them and the game gets really fun as you learn the tracks and zip through the turns. There are 5 classes of ships each having 4 tiers of ships that race a lot faster each tier, so 20 ships total. Each ship has a few upgrades that you can purchase helping it preform better and can have the color patterns changed between 7 different paintjobs.

The AI is harsh, there are a few races that I have no chance at keeping up, but other races I find very VERY easy and get gold or platinum on most of the races. There is some rubberbanding with the AI in a couple races, other races the AI is just brutally fast and you have to be 100% on point to keep the lead.

Each time you get a new ship it's a unique feeling as you tear up the tracks faster and faster. When I hit the last tier it was a lot of fun going super fast, and a little dissorienting at times. You have to control the pitch of your racer as you go around loops and banks to prevent scraping your nose or tail on the ground, It's a great feature that isn't too rough to manage in the later tracks once you've ran them a few times.

There are several active and passive upgrades to buy each can be powered up a few times to work better.
Personally I enjoy the turbo boost with the magnetic stabilizer, it can create some really fast "OH S%&#" moments haha.
The achievements aren't too hard to get either, which is nice. With their most recent update it fixed the one achievement not being able to be unlocked, so you can 100% this now.

All in all I give this game a 9/10, only reason it's not 10/10 is because of the different AI behaviors in some maps.

TL:DR
Great game, go fast AF, hit ramps, upgrade, get rekt by AI, restart races several times but have a lot of fun doing it. 9/10

If you are looking for a top down bullet hell shooter this game is great. The visuals are amazing and well put together. The weapon upgrades and collectables are enough to keep you going and keep it interesting. Bosses provide a challenge as well as some spots in the levels.

My only complaint is this only has 4 levels, I would love to play more but for $3.00 you honestly cant beat it.

I'm playing this on PC and it runs 100% smooth with no lag or stutters (even with the screen completely full of objects). GTX960 GPU, 16gb RAM, i7-4790k CPU.

Great job to the devs, I hope to see another game like this from them in the future.

I absolutely loved this game before the patch, the patch makes everything more confusing. I get what you tried to do Hi-Rez but you honesly lost me as a player with the patch. The bullet timings are improved in the patch and theres a lot more balanced weapons now. Rather than patch the game after 2 years and completely mess it up, shouldn't you have just made a new game? It's about that time after all.

If you liked tribes before you will still enjoy this fast paced shooter but to those that grew fond of the elements first presented in tribes ascend, this game will now just irritate you as nothing is even close to what it used to be. GG Hi-Rez, you lost me as a regular player with over 800 hours.

The patch might just take some getting used to and I'm just salty cause it's not what I've wasted a lot of time and a few dollars on, but so far I am not impressed by what I see other than bullet speed improvements. Players get too many guns to the point where the classes are rendered useless and you can have a heavy armor with snipers and never know. It adds a whole new element to the game which is nice, but overall its just $hit in my opinion as of right now.

I would still recommend it as there is still no other game out there like this, and being free to play it'd be dumb not to atleast try it.

To those that get the GOTY you must redeem it in the Main Menu similar to Borderlands shift codes. Nothing gives you that giddy schoolgirl giggle more than shooting someone in the face doing over 300km/h BEST SHOOTER EVER!!!! 10/10

You ever want a game that was like an old NES Zelda dungeon crawler but a lot darker, more traumatic, and no low health heart beep every second? If so then this is for you....

This game is a little hard to those new to The Binding of Isaac, but absolutely addicting and it will always be a new map every playthrough (unless using the same seed). Replay value is extremely good as you unlock more and more items, trinkets and enemies as you play (178 achievements). You also progress futher in the levels as you beat the game a few times. You get some choices to make that vary where you branch out to (Heaven/Hell/Void/Chest) and a bad@$$ boss rush room if you can beat Mom within 20 mins (Gives you a little stopwatch icon in between levels on the loading screen to sorta track your pace to the level you're at).

There are 11 total characters (each with different perks/styles/handicaps) to unlock as well as 20 challenges to unlock that will leave you very frustrated at times because nobody got time for exploding boomerang tears that constantly hurt you if you aren't a ninja, haha.

The price isn't bad for the amount of stuff there is in this game... Go ahead, I dare you to have the exact same run twice, haha.

10/10

This game is very interesting as far as concepts go and watching what other players have done.... But as far as gameplay goes it's like QWOP on crack.
