Very fun and cute! I loved having this game play on the bottom of my screen while I did other tasks.

As someone who has played all of the Dark Pictures games, I would avoid this one. This is so sad because I was very excited for this theme and I thought it would be the best one yet.

There are so many various bugs/crashes/errors that I have spent most of my time trying to fix. There is a frequent crash upon starting the game. Once the game manages to start, I've run in to countless bugs. Some of the bugs aren't game breaking and only ruin the experience, but a good majority of the time, they break the game so that I have to restart. Now I have reached a part of the game where I hit an infinite loading screen and can no longer progress at all. I have tried every single fix I can find - I have even restarted the chapter and it still has the bug at the same spot. This has effectively made the game unplayable as I am no longer able to progress.

Aside from the technical issues, I've never felt so disconnected from characters in my games before. I don't care for any of them, and the story that I've managed to see has been, unfortunately, VERY bland and boring.

Building the castle is so much fun, I easily spent a good 50+ hours just farming materials to build it. Combat is also fun!

The best Tales game in a while. I've loved this series since playing Tales of Symphonia on the gamecube, but this is the first one to capture my attention in the same way. The combat is fun and I don't find myself trying to skip past moster encounters all the time. The characters are lovable, and the story has a completely new tone from other games in this series. It's refreshing and incredibly intriguing.
