Don't Starve Together

'Don't Starve Together' is as the name reveals the multiplayer version of the famous 'Don't Starve'.
There's nothing much to be introduced, everything the singleplayer game provided and had can be found here as well.
The main difference is just the possibility to play online.

~~~ Gameplay ~~~

'Don't Starve Together' has the exact same setting and gameplay as the previous singleplayer.
Controls are the same and the gameplay is not different at all so you'll feel familiar with the world and the characters.
It's all about what you personally prefer. If you want a different game with different content you won't feel satisfied here.
Though not starving together is way funnier, the only difference is that if you decide to survive with other players together gathering food and supplies will become a way bigger necessity.
Two mouths want to be fed more, seems legit eh?
Personally I wouldn't consider the gameplay as different, it's sophisticated and the impact you'll experience is some sort of responsibility for your group.
Therefore you want everyone to survive and not leave anyone behind.
You know the movie 'Into the wild'? Yea it sort of feels exactly like that, despite you're together... And in a game..
In conclusion, the growing responsibility and care about each other will affect your way of playing.
But you still decide which path you wanna go.
Are you a lone survivor? The one who leaves dead weight behind because the biggest enemy is still yourself?
Or are you a responsible teamplayer, sharing tasks of gathering food and supplies and wants his group to survive at any cost?
It's up to you.
Music and sound are as the entire game the same old familiar setting. You'll be surprised of how there's absolutely no talking.
Yes you read right! Characters won't talk, at least not in English. The sound is some gibberish but hey, it's absolutely fine!
The music and sound fit into the world, are atmospheric and are not annoying like in other games you just want to mute.

Didn't change at all, if you played 'Don't Starve' first you will be used to and feel familiar.
Like described above the only difference is the multiplayer possibility.
The cartoon setting fits in and over all it's a nice cooperation of graphical setting, design and gameplay.
Lightning effects are nicely put together with decreasing sanity and weather and daytimes are perfectly interacting together.
The game runs smoothly without any stutters.
Though server lag might be frustrating from time to time but this is ain't the fault of the game itself.

- Very limited players (Even though it's understandable, imagine 130 Wilsons walk around)

Result

If you want to survive with your friends this game provides exactly what you are looking for.
But if you wish to see something different, something new you are wrong here.
I highly recommend it to players who like to play together, but if you are a lone survivor you should keep to the previous game.
'Don't Starve Together' doesn't come up with new content, neither with a different setting and neither with a revolution of the old game.
