I honestly love this game. It's so fun and cute. Some of the game design can be obtuse at times and other times it can be just a bit slow. Although, I only looked up a answers twice. I honestly love this game though and it made me smile and feel so happy playing through it. I think I only have a few levels left. I don't want it to end.

This is a fairly complete and fun game. It can get tedious tending to your farms, but they solved that with automation. Basically, if your looking for a cute adventure and like the idea of taking care of slimes, this is for you.

There is currently enough content to play for 40+ hours before you start plunging into end game as long as you're there to relax and have fun. (Why else would you play a slime game?) I think I got a full 60 hours before I felt I was getting to the end.

I owned this game as a kid and played it all the way through. I now own it as an adult and am on my 3rd play through.
In all honesty, if you want a simple strategy game with cute art and a silly story, this is it. Lawn n Pool n Roof, you get what you see plus fun mini-games, two puzzles (strategy mini-games) with different difficulties, survival, and, the most important, a zen garden.
10/10 Bopping Mutant Sunflowers!!!

The updated design ruined the atmosphere completely. I've never seen a game go from creepy and liminal to just childish and tacky with a reboot. I do recommend the original directors cut though.

I'd pay $50 for this program if that's what it sold for. Whether it's animation, sprite sheet making, or just drawing, this is it. It's clean, simple, and is made to be user friendly. It's has all the hallmarks of a good program, including backing up files to it's history in case of crashes. It may look "old", but that's a good thing. It makes everything navigable and intuitive. This is what an art program SHOULD feel like.
