Its really easy to get Miku for free

I have a very interesting history with this game. I pre-ordered the collector's edition back in 2015 and was probably more hyped for this game than any other before it, as I loved all the story driven linear Metal Gears, even 4!

Then the game came out and was a sandbox with barely any story or cutscenes, the complete opposite of its marketing, it was probably the biggest disappointment ever. Then I replayed it last year and it is probably one of the most fun open world or stealth games I have ever played. Impeccable sense of mission structure, perfect 1980s military aesthetics (I recommend DLing the historically accurate weapons mod), fun basebuilding and a million ways to approach a mission or engagement.

What a difference almost 10 years of perspective can make! Amazing game!

This game, which was originally released in 2021, is worse in literally every single aspect than Red Orchestra 2, which was released in 2011. It looks worse!!! somehow, has worse animations, worse gunplay and if you would not have told me this was made by a chinese game dev I would consider it an asset flip!!!

This is the most longhoused millenial shooter I have ever played. This game seems like a parody that Million Dollar Extreme wouldve made. Every single detail, from the dysgenic characters, the announcer, to the basic HUD screams 35 year old dude who posts his hecking doggo on reddit. I cannot believe people who used to work on battlefield have lost their sense of visuals in such totality.
The main gameplay loop is alright but give the grapple hook 2 every1

The roblox mods my cousins play are more developed than this. If you want the community to make your game (certainly a cute idea) you gotta dev it at least far enough to *get* a community. I also just doubt the engine used here can be pushed far enough to accomplish stuff that people want.

Best WW 2 military sim around and its not even close. Great community and can easily stand as one of the best experiences when you meet the right squad. It is far more complex than HLL and RO 2 and offers a big reward for playing with a thinking squad. A great community and modding as well.
The more straight forward map design also makes it a lot less boring than Squad.

They completely saved this game with the Squad 44 update. I cannot believe how much depth this game has. You can play 500 hours and still not grasp all the mechanics but opposed to other games, not grasping everything leads to a frustrating experience, it is very different here. You can have loads of fun from a basic no clue infantry grunt to a PHD tier logistics player.
