*June 2016 update-
After a year of not playing this game (update 78), the developers actually removed their micro transaction nonsense. I was not particularly upset about the micro transactions in themselves, but rather how the developers handled the community backlash. Now that they removed it, I have an enormous amount of respect for them, doing this so long after the fact and after having had a lot of disdain accumulate. Because of that, I can well and truly recommend the game again not only because of the content, but the way the developers respond to the community.

Simply put, this game is spectacular. The variation in gameplay is huge, not only between playable characters, but in the loot. There are times where the game seems like a grind in the middle levels, but the difficulty picks up again, making the replay vlaue huge. The four main DLCs are all long enough to be considered game of their own (albeit short ones), and offer even more diversity to the landscape of Pandora and the loot you can find. Cp-op is where this game really shines. 4 people in a game makes for a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience. In general, the community in BL2 is great, and as long as you are not the problem, you will not have any problems.

10/10

Normally I play fast paced fps or rpg type games, and the minimalist, easy going style of Lyne is a welcomed break. The gameplay is fun and there are an infinte amount of levels to beat (a number of levels, not sure how many, in the main game, and then new sets every day in the 'daily' section). This game can be very challenging at times, and completing a diffficult set is satisfing. For a quick game while waiting or a break from more intense games, Lyne is perfect.

One of the best games I've played in years. Still fresh, exciting, and always a challenge.
