Got hooked and can't stop playing. The game got huge potential and I cannot wait for the full release.

I played the whole evening with a friend and we had a blast! Takes the first Helldivers and improves and expands on it in many ways, and the new 3rd person view is a huge game changer and makes it much more immersive.
During all the hours we played we only had some disconnect issues during one of the runs and one crash in total, but this was due to a known bug that has since been fixed. Can't wait to get back on Founding Father of Family Values(my ships name) and continue crushing bugs.
So if you liked Helldivers you're gonna love Helldivers 2.

Unplayable on 32:9 monitors due to stretching. And choosing a 16:9 resolution does not help since the aspect ratio remains the same and no black borders are added

An amazing game and one hell of a good time with friends. It is the Payday sequel we wanted which has been improved in almost every single aspect from Payday 2. Played 3 nights in a row with friends and it has been a very smooth experience, the only negative we encountered are minor bugs but nothing game breaking. And there is a lot more content around the corner. Can't wait to get back in tonight!

If you are not interested in the PvP mode then this is a no brainer, it's awesome and free so just try it out!
Great graphics and animations, awesome combat with great impact and feedback, a long fully voice acted campaign with lots of different scenery, cool bosses with MMO mechanics, loads of both visual and stat/skill customization and then some.
I have spent around 50 hours in total in the demo and full released and have never felt the need to spend a single cent,
and both me and my friends are having a ton of fun.

If you for some reason were mainly interested in the PvP-mode then stay away due to the Pay To Win aspects.

Wow what an awesome hidden gem this game is!
I bought this game for myself and six of my friends and every single one is loving it.
The initial threshold before you get into all the mechanics and systems is a bit steep, but once you get over it you're in for an epic ride of non stop alien shooter mayhem. If X-COM and Alien Swarm had a baby it would be this game. And the 8-player coop works superbly well and is a ton of fun =) Sure this game has it flaws like cringy voice acting and poorly explained skills/perks to name a couple, but the negatives drown in comparison to all the positives and just plain fun.

A lot more than meets the eye....

This review is based on my 9 hours of gameplay so I have not reached end game.

I was plesantly surprised with this game and it has come a long way since initial EA release.
At first the game felt very basic and "narrow" but after a few missions it opens up a lot, and you gain access to more interesting lot, new systems, bigger levels, mini bosses, hidden secrets and a lot more. So around lv 30 Vector missions this game really starts to shine.

Pros:
+ Good graphics
+ Very fun and responsive combat
+ Lost of customization and diverse characters
+ Ultrawide support
+ Runs well and have only had one minor bug
+ Dedicated devs that puts out constant updates
+ Fun bosses with "MMO mechanics"
+ No micro transactions
+ Low price

Cons:
- No mini map
- A little slow start before it opens up
- The number of available skills per class is a little low for my taste
- Low loot drop chance for weapons and gear during missions, which results in having to purchase most of this at the shop
- Weapon and gear stats could be more in depth
- The contracts(missions) you get are poorly explained and it's hard to know what to do and on what mission to do it

A breath of fresh air for PvP and of to a good start.
I love the stealth mechanics and the brutal medieval theme of the game.
There are some issues that needs to be fixed(as with most new releases but the devs seems very dedicated and listens to the players) but the foundation is solid and will improve with more content that is already planed.

This is soooo much fuuuun!
This is exactly what this franchise needed. After releasing 531 billion versions of the same(which several of them were really good), we finally get to play in real-time with modern graphics.

Runs very smooth(340 FPS with everything maxed out in 1440p and 200% resolution scale) and the the art style and graphics are spot on. Super fun and entertaining gameplay, both solo and with friends in a squad. The game seems very polished and bug free so far. Lots of customization and NO micro-transactions!
