This is by far, one of the most intense games I have ever played. I wasn't so certain what I was doing at the beginning so I accidentally chose the hardcore mode, but there comes a certain point where using combos and less frequent save points are not that dire. The first section is very difficult because there are only a save points, but afterwards, it becomes a bit easier to spread out save points if you manage your time well.

The game is fun but has a very dark and interesting plot line that really questions a lot about what is the correct perspective to take on the issue. Though it may seem straight forward at the beginning your mission, several obstacles, questions, people, and haluciantions make you consider if what you are doing is the correct method.

Can you be a protector and a father at the same time in a post-apocolyptic world? What separates a father from a monster? How would you face the odds for something you cherish, and/or something you have already lost? These are questions the game hits really hard, and it makes you really consider a lot about somethings in life as a person, and how you want to be/are viewed as to others. There is no clear answer to what is the correct decision since most of the main characters seem to question this aspect as well. Has the world gone to ♥♥♥♥, or are you just holding on to something that was never achieveable from the beginning? What do you do, when you have lost something that close to you?

I think most importantly, the major theme of this game is how people deal with loss and continous loss when hope is bleak. In which you find some who compensate loss, with some objects, some entertainment, and others people in their lives.

Risk of Rain keeps having you return for a different challenge. Whether it is trying out a different character or combination of items, the challenge can get really intense. It always feels rewarding when you get so many items at the last stage and feel like a badass. There are always different unlocks so the game always feels fresh even if you grinded through the few stages several times.

Have you every thought what it might feel like to actually be great at multitasking?
Are you trying to get better at TF2 or Overwatch?
Maybe you are thinking what is the fastest way to get carpal tunnel syndrome?

This is the game for you! This game allows you to multitask at the greatest efficency and requires you to bring attention to several components you never thought were relavent. Giving bad orders encourages you to get better and gain the most money over time. Because of the variety of the game you can make the game easy or very complicated. Complicated makes you better at the game and gain the greatest ammount of efficency in the game to progress and manage several orders at once. After a while the challenge feels so smooth you can once in your life feel like you accomplished something profound.

This game is very exciting to play and causes a lot of frustration. Playing with friends might be good but if you are not coordinated well its easy to get into ♥♥♥♥.

The game is well deserved of the rating and nostalgic references. Out of all the heroes, however, why predator? It makes no sense, but I will let it slide. I think putting Captain Ameribro could do well as an alternative, or perhaps newer heroes to bring attention to the game again (Kung Fury, maybe as a joke the karate guy from kung pow enter the fist, or others)

The game is very intense and exciting, though I really perfered more the challenging stages (1 life runs) over the regular gameplay, I think the concept is really great but definitely deserves more areas to run through, it is not until you are 75% way into the game when it starts to be challenging.

I feel each character should have their own section, it is obvious they monopolized on the alien franchise but what about the other characters? From the roster I am familiar with a majority of them and it would be exciting to see region specified for their character and allow you to obtain them during those portions of the game (to help you get familiar with the character). I bet this game would receive much more attention if this is achieved.

Cons: There are some heroes that are far superior to others but the fact the game developers put much consideration into their reference characters I give them a lot of credit. However, I do believe there are certain heroes that need much needed buffs because in their current state they are usless.

Another aspect that really grinds my gears is the fact that crates are next to hero rescues. A lot of times it forces you to pick up these upgrades before rescuing the hero but this just is ridiculous since after you rescue them, the upgrade is reset, so it makes the upgrade uselss.

I also felt that the character obtainment was a bit overwhelming and did not help me understand the new characters I obtained well (their basic attack, ultimates, and their grab). The characters you rescue are not the same ones you obtain when you die it is random so maybe by some luck of chance you get a character you have not learned as well.

This game has such a deep background in my childhood, and is always great to return to. Brings back the nostalgia of using quarters at the arcade machine and trying to see how far I can get with 5 quarters.

Have it on my mobile device, and have to say its one of the best free to play games out there that one can get by without paying and still have a fun time. People who are complaining its only a mobile game are subjected to this criticism because of the format, but its still a good game.

Honestly I hate the loading time it takes on my mobile device so its much faster on my CPU which I use more often than my mobile device, so kudos for finally brining this game to the computer, its been over a year that I have waited for this.

Still some glitches but still better to manage people from my point especially when they are near death (for those who don't know this your dwellers can die, but you can revive them for a set # of caps in non-surivor mode) so using the mouse makes this better to actually clicking the characters you need for things.

Is this a game for any gamer...probably not. There are a ton of bugs with the game itself and the game often places you in situations where you will ultimately die unless you have a great save file. The enimes, especially the soilders, have way too much health and can kill you almost instantly (they always have gernades and have spot on accurecy with them and secondary fire for automatic rifles) and will harm you if you are not prepared (i.e. you fall down, as part of the game's plot and will lose 30hp, and all of your amour).

Overall the game is great plot wise, probably not great to play and makes you frustrated at times if you did not save often. Probably best for nostalgic reasons for those who have played the game before, but this honestly is my first time playing the game so beating the game is a great feeling.

The next is a few items to keep in mind, if you want an idea ( I will not put any spoillers so don't worry)

I have listed a few good items to deffinitely use (below) but the only contradiction to their usefulness for most siutations is unideal since the ammunition for them is low but there is a ton of ammo for the one's you would use less often:
-The automatic rifle (great for anything that has low health and you need just of of the way)
-The revolver (for some reason very OP, takes only two shots to kill most things but ammo is very scarce)
-gluon gun (though the ammo goes away really quick, its great for the alien soilders and smaller creatures, ammo scarce)
-Crossbow (accuracey is horrible, but good for a quick death)
-pistol (fantastic for getting rid of some small creatures)

One of the best games I have ever played, its very addictive and keeps you very engaged. The soundtrack is epic and makes you very involved in the game. I have not had this much fun in a game in a really long time and that's a lot to say.

Don't believe the video game footage, that camel shoots at you like a machine gun and brings you down to 10hp really quick.

Best rip-off game I ever played! It is one of the most accurate games out there because how else do people calm animals aside from shoving food down their throats using a slingshot and wierd contraptions.

I honesly think this game is more gruesome than Wolfenstein, Noah is obviously a narcisstst with picutres and names all over the place and is taming the animals which are trying to bring sense to him.

10/10, I still don't know what the fruit does in the game.
