Note: Video games are a big part of my life even though it didn't bring me closer to family.
I was heart broken when I finished collecting everything to find out I hoarded everything and yet nobody wanted to play with the libraries of games, consoles, and everything I had. I ended up moving to the United Kingdom with the smaller things and consolidated what I truly played.
Recommendations:
1. Stick to games where you can own it DRM-Free, websites like GOG allows you to own the game without the terms of service interfering with your purchase, offline and online use.
2. Play games that allow you to play offline. This also means having games that allow CO-OP, Game servers creation, split screens, and tools. If you only play games like Valorant, PUBG, and Fortnite... Once their servers closes, you lose all your items and ability to play offline or multiplayer.
3. Avoid big memory games. Modern games like Call of Duty are over 100 GB and requires constant updates. Another big reasons to avoid games that require internet connection upon start-up. Buy an indie game from Coffee Stain.
