Love this game, the dev team really listens to the community and make improvments sharpish :) I have been doing a Youtube series on this title if you want to check out some game play to help you decide if this title is for you.

In this game you take the role of a emergency services dispatcher. You control a privately owned fire/police and medical station. You have to budget your money and reputation to make improvements and obtain more equipment. The game is always encouraging you reach higher levels as well with different events you need to prepare for.

Bugs are tackled really quickly and support is offered on their discord channel.

I am looking forward to seeing what this game can be. I am not under any false illusions that this game is a finished product or that the current state of the game is what the finished product will be like. I do see regular patches and work on the game so I am still holding onto some hope that this will be a diamond in the rough. I do plan on doing a youtube series on the game when it is more stable.

I did enjoy the change from the usual survival games, desert survival looks like an interesting idea. There is some groundwork for some really good game mechanics. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one and how it develops.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great fun... absolutely awesome and addictive and totally worth the money.

The problem I have with the game is something called "meshers" these are players that get inside the walls of a game and destroy your base from within the walls of the game. There are so many ways to do this with a simple google/youtube search. I have just watched a youtuber called "HOD Gaming" his latest video tries to draw attention to this issue since the game developers are very slow to react. After his video went up he was globally banned from the game.

Don't play this game for fun and competitive PVP. Don't bother playing if you want to invest hundreds of hours only to have your base unfairly destroyed through "meshing".

Like I said, I enjoyed the hell out of this game (thus the 1000+ hours Ive put into it) but I have lost a lot of interest in this game due to issues that will never be fixed.

I wish there was more than just yes or no.

The gameplay is good and the content that's there is good. It just feels very bare bones kind of game.
out of the few maps you can play on there is bugger all room to build a decent size enclosure for animals the size of dinosaurs. It feels a little inhumane to keep them cooped up in a small paddock.
There are NO decorations. From a company that made Planet Coaster, which is 90% decoration placement and very astheically oriented. I would have thought you would be able to at least place a tree.
As someone who saw the original Jurassic Park in cinemas and fell in love. I feel like "The Secrets of Dr. Wu." Need to stay a secret. Charging us for more dinos that should have been in the game already feels like a money grab (just like every DLC for every game is). With no exaggeration it genuinely makes me sad and a little annoyed to see this franchise doing this to this game.

TL:DR version. Its a good game but definitely not worth the money they are asking for it. Half price maybe.

First of all, I want to say this game is a GREAT idea. I like the direction this is headed in and I know that I WILL enjoy the FINISHED product.

As it stands the game is has some great elements and the depth and immersion is very good.
For me there is too much guess work going on. This is a game where you honestly have to do your research on. Look at youtube or forums to learn how to do the basics of the game. I would have loved to see something more intuitive and maybe some more clear hints and such.

The in game hints are ok but when you are too busy trying to work out how to move in zero G you have no time to work out that the hint that popped up was for the panel or object you were looking at. You have to work out how that panel works and if for some reason you don't see the gravity generator panel you could spend 10 minutes floating around your module trying to turn it on while the other hints have popped up and gone already.

I spend about 10 minutes trying to work out why I couldn't move the air lock module before I realized that I had inadvertently removed the resource injector from the panel near the controls.

I can't say No to the recommendations because I will enjoy it when I have more patience to sit and work it out after some out of game tutorials. So I will say yes to a recommendation.... but.....

PLEASE LOOK AT HOW TO DO THINGS ON YOUTUBE FIRST! LITERALLY EVERYTHING! THERE IS LITTLE INFORMATION IN GAME ON HOW TO DO ANYTHING!

Hello Games is now being investigated for false representation of certain aspects of the game.

This should be a HUGE flashing alarm bell if you are considering paying full price for this title.

I did enjoy the content that was there, but the game felt like it was still in an alpha or beta testing phase. There is simply not enough content here to keep anyone interested.
I put 41 hours into the game hoping that there would be more depth, more to unlock, more to do.

There isn't.... there is the endless repeditive.... There isn't.... there is the endless repeditive.... There isn't....

I did enjoy this game. I am a fan of the genre of survival games. This game has something different by using different parameters of survival. Freezing to death is a real possibility and nearly everyone will freeze to a noob ice block at one point.
This game does not have an extensive crafting system but what it does have, works.

I am going to recommend this game, with conditions.

I think the replayability factor largely relies on your own dicipline to not use certain items.
There is not a lot of depth of gameplay. The lack of story I think lets it down.
I understand that trudging through the snow for "hours" is part of the survival but it takes days of patient exploring to potentially find nothing. A transporation system would help.

I found the gameplay enjoyable but I got bored with the game really quickly after I found a decent little place to camp.... food wasn't an issue and I had a warm place to sleep.

What next? same snow different day?

While the Roller Coaster editor is all shiney and new and user friendly, the rest of the program is less than easy to use unless you trawl through hours and hours of out of game tutorials and youtube videos.

It can be extremely tedious at times (apart from the coaster editor... yes, yes, I know, it's easy to use and fun... blah blah blah I am NOT talking about the coasters!!) when you are building paths and you are unsure how the nodes connect or keep forgetting to select specific nodes to continue construction etc. The buildings I am sure require just as much patience to get the hang of also.

While I do not dislike this program, I can't recommend it for everyone. This program (apart from the coaster editor! yes yes I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE COASTER EDITOR!) is more suited to people with more focus and patience.

Just for a comparison. Planet Coaster was easy to use, more detailed and continues to get improvements and more user friendly constantly. Not really any need for a learning curve or tedious tutorials.

I was told "It's worth a look"

I thought to myself "I won't get addicted, I can stop when ever I want"

I can't tell you how wrong I was. As the general once said "IT'S A TRAP!"
