Edit : Sorry, I've played through the game via torrent(which is why i dont have alot of playtime) and liked it so much I bought it.

Game isn't too bad but it isn't great.

Ive finished the act one in around an hour and a half, and I have to say I want more ! Very nice level design, well voiced characters as well as a really well-written story that will have you asking for more once you've tried it. Would recommend to anybody who is fan of post-apocalyptic scenarios and shooters with a puzzle aspect !

P.S. : Cannot wait for part II ! Been a while now.

Natural selection 2 is a very nice mix between a FPS and a RTS with very good graphics and immersion like no other FPS I've played. Nice variety of upgrades on both the marines/aliens and is very fun if you have a microphone to communicate with your commander/teammates. I recommend it to anyone who likes shooters and strategy-based games.

Microtransactions Update: With the recent addition of CS:GO type crates into Payday and the ongoing flow of paid DLC have made me change my mind about my review. Until this is resolved (if it ever is) I don't think I can recommend Payday 2.


Payday 2 is a very fun game, but it is more enjoyable if you can play it with 3 other friends. The gameplay is so fun and can be stealthy or a full frontal assault, depending on what you and your teammates have specialized in your skill tree. Good variety of weapons, a nice mask customization and a very nice array of weapon modifications which you can earn after each robbery in the end-game reward screen. All-around fun and many hours of gameplay with a good replayabillity as well as an active company that regularly upgrades the game with free content(events, new maps, new guns, in-game balance) and cheap DLC. A must for any group of four looking for a coop game.

P.S. Wait for sales before buying DLC, unless you want to spend 100$+ on DLC.

From the 5-6 games I played, I can say that the gameplay is very tactical(I've seen many people complain of campers and people who stay in one spot until they die, so if this is something you absolutely cant deal with, this game is not for you). Nonetheless, GRO is very fun and has unique gameplay with a class-based system.

P.S. Sometimes they give free DLC so i'll give them kudos for that.

EDIT: Once you reach level 5 with any class, you stop being placed with rookies so make sure you try out all 3 up to level 4 before going on, as you will be placed with people with alot more equipement/skills. Don't forget this is a tactical shooter (let alone a Ghost Recon game) so you will need to use cover and distance to your advantage.

Great game ! Tons of replayability and very fun zombie survival game ! Def. in my top 5 zombie games ever played.

Edit: After playing 60+ hours i can honestly say this is one of the better more ''realistic'' zombie games. It's very much designed like a survival horror as you must save up your ammo, heal your own wounds when you bleed out, take pills when youre infected, etc. Also, I find zombies to feel very natual to be well animated for a free to play game.

P.S. : I would recomend getting 1 or 2 friends to play with, but the community is super friendly and you can usually make friends/talk with the people in the chat or over voice comms.

Very surprising game! Orcs Must Die! is a very good example of the mix between tower defence and action games. It's a solo only game but if you get into the first couple of levels you get hooked by the variety of the maps and the sheer number of traps you can set to stop the orcs from reaching your base. I would also recommend the sequel, which has a coop mode and alot more content.

Fun co-op survival game to play with friends or alone online with random people. More fun as a group or as a lan game but would recommend it to most survival zombie/infected game. Lots of weapons, lots of maps, nice variety of roles to play and level up to unlock things. The money system keeps the game fun and the slow-mo adds to the awesomeness sometimes. Most DLC is character skins even if theres some DLC guns, but the Toy Master free DLC is a must for any owner of the base game.

10 years edit: Boycott the ♥♥♥♥ out of nexon

I've played the hell out of this in beta and I have to say: Vindictus is one of the only games published by Nexon that I would still willingly play, only because they've added so much content. To be fair, Vindictus is the North American version of a Korean game called Mabinogi Heroes, which is, as far as I know, about a years worth of patches ahead of it's NA counterpart.

The combat system is rather fun and the graphics are decent for a PC F2P. Most of the things you can buy in the shop are cosmetic/things along the lines of respawn tokens or team revives as well as tokens to use the boat system, thus limiting the impact that spending money has on the game. The thing that stands out the most in this game is the varied landscapes, the decent storyline and the more than EPIC boss battles, from a giant enraged polar bear to a firebreathing dragon, passing by the kraken and huge spiders. The combat is very much like a hack and slash, and there isn't really any skill tree.

I would recommend this game, even more so if you're just getting into F2P games so you can get to see a fairly well executed game.
