I received this for free in 2014, and thank god they gave this game and not some crappy game nobody wants to play.

The atmosphere in Metro 2033 is crazy and the storyline is amazing! It felt a bit like bioshock but with a powerless protagonist, which adds to the enjoyability.

I would recommend this to anybody who missed out on the free day, though if you'd buy it i'd recommend the new redux versions which are beautifully remade versions of the Metro series.

Overall Review: 11/10 would drink vodka out of a mug and watch that ♥♥♥♥-eating grin any day.

Defiance is a very fun and well made MMORPG with open-world shooting, but it has one fatal flaw: The playerbase is very low. Sometimes you can have 1-2 people with you in your missions and it sometimes feels hard to solo everything. That said, the game is very fun and addictive. There's cutscenes with voice actors, alot of dialogue and a very fun spin on the MMO genre.

I would not recommend F.E.A.R Online. It's a mediocre FPS Experience and just looks like a rehash of old F.E.A.R. Games with a ''coop'' mode to play some sort of campaign which you're limited to a certain ammount of tries, after which you need to either have a friend with more tries, or buy more for real money. The cash shop looks like any other generic FPS and the graphics are abysmal. The commnunity was pretty snob (not so much on release but I guess alot were people trying the game). To me, this is just another Aeria Games cash grab (In the same fashion as Nexon or GamersFirst).

P.S. : Most of my playtime was during closed/open beta and before the steam release. The playtime on steam was just to verify if the game changed at all.

Great game. In my opinion best free Source mod out there and was one of my first zombie game experiences on PC. This game is alot like No More Room In Hell in concept and design (The ammo system, movement, etc.) The thing that makes this game a little different from other zombie games like NMRIH/L4D is that when you get infected, you become part of the zombie team. This adds an element of fun and makes the zombies a bit more scary as they can actually get you if theyre good. Would reccomend this game but I dont know if the community is still alive to this day. Best with friends.

This game is for fans of turn-based RPGs and also for the fan of Dofus, another game by Ankama that very much inspired the world of Wakfu (most locations return from Dofus but in a different layout). I've played this game in beta a few years back and I can say it got alot better since then. Give it a try if you're a fan of the genre/of the Dofus-Wakfu Universe.

Fun Fact: Reto-Moto (the company that makes H&G) are the ones who founded IO Interactive, the company responsible for the Hitman series.

Edit: (Utz Patch) Since last update they've cleaned up the server issues (less crashing) and added a new map: The Forward Airfield. This was a small update and was more about tweaks to the game's mechanics.

Edit : Soviet Update (Timoshenko Patch).
The new Soviet patch that H&G received was quite a big one. A new faction with a whole new arsenal of weapons has been added and they polished alot of the things that needed it such as the mod system, the UI has been revamped and some features have been added (Ability to spawn on allied vehicles, discouraging people from teamkilling on purpose and they reworked the ressource pooling.) The game right now is in a good position and every patch it gets better.

Edit:(Spaatz Patch) The new matchmaking system is 10x better. The game is now actually a bit easier to play and have fun with. Also, you can now play as any faction at any time, which is SWEET! Still lack-luster on the guns and the prices of items with in-game currency are beyond high.

Really fun game, community can be a bit salty and there are A-Holes but overall a good community. Premium In-Game things you can buy are pretty balanced and can make it more fun if you dont want to grind to get the class you want to play. Not many maps yet nor many weapons but the game is still fun.

I strongly recommend focusing on capturing points as an infantry, aswell as defending them. If you prefer using close combat/SMG's and Tanks I would choose U.S. and if you prefer Planes, playing infantry or sniping, I'd go Axis. (This is before the Soviet release.)

I've played this game regularly from 2009 to around 2011 and played it on and off the past 3 years and I feel like the game hasn't really evolved and it doesn't seem Nexon is doing much for the game. Even support could take up to 5-6 months (as of 2012). The interface is clunky and not that appealing, the guns are somewhat balanced, though real money guns are almost always stronger than their game money counterpart. The gun rental system might not suit everybody as you must play a minimum to be able to make your game points back to rent it the next time you play. On the other hand, they hook you up with stuff weekly for the first month so you can save up your points. In the end, I wouldn't recommend any Nexon games because most of them are old games they bought from other companies so they could rack the money from the microtransactions. They probably have some decent devs but they clearly ignore most player complaints and manage their games in a poorly fashion. (I've played most games nexon published in NA, even some in Beta.)

Fun little PvM game with a PvP twist through doing other players' castles. Think of it as a cartoony Diablo-like game with some humour and a good variety of weapons and a very cool castle selection screen. I would recommend atleast giving it a try as it can be played casualy if wanted.

I have played 20 hours so far and oh man... this game is fun ! At first I was septic about the real money currency vs. the free to play, but in fact, by only playing a little (15+ hours) you have access to alot of warframes and weapons. Only downside is the grind but if you have as much fun as me with the ninja-like moves that you can spam, you won't mind. Really fun, feels to me like Halo meets Dead Space. Give it a try !

UPDATE: After almost 300 hours of game time (160 hours of actual playtime) I can confirm that this game is a MUST F2P game, and this is why. You can earn EVERYTHING in the shop for free through in-game currency and trades with other players and the gameplay is updated regularly (And the devs are very nice). Only tip I would give is to not give up after 6-7 hours because you cant buy stuff, just hang in there a little more or try looking for games in the recruiting tab. Good playing folks !

UPDATE 2: I've checked the steam bundles you can buy for the game and I would STRONGLY recommend not buying any (really isn't worth it). If you're going to spend money, spend it in shop when you get a discount as a login reward. (You have a chance to get one every 24h)

I've bought the game on the xbox 360 when it came out in '09 and it's a very good sequel to the 1st of the series, which refreshed the zombie genre for the better. Very fun in Coop and a must for any group of 2-4 looking for a blast !
