I love the game so far, but I cannot recommend it in its current state. I can see why they delayed it, and i understand that it is indeed in early access, but the combat can be very frustrating sometimes. Having played much of DOS2, I tend to position my characters *just so* and, unfortunately, the game often decides it is going to move my characters into disadvantageous positions, due to the feature allowing characters to move into range for certain attacks. AI will sometimes bug, and not take its turn. I have had many times where the end turn button simply will not end my turn.
I can deal with buggy animations, or glitching dead bodies, but the combat needs a *lot* more polish.


EDIT: As of playing the game in full release, I can wholeheartedly recommend the game now! It seems most of the combat bugs have been fixed. Only bugs I have encountered thus far are occasional unimportant NPCs T-posing, or minor graphical glitches that are to be expected from a game of this size. I think it is safe to say that Larian has struck gold again!
