This game is pretty much directly responsible for where I currently am in life. I shall not explain whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, only that I owe it quite a lot. Thank you for creating this, Mason Lindroth.

As for anyone else reading this review, honestly, go play it! It's only a few bucks and it's really good!

Got this game for free a while ago, really didn't enjoy it. It's clunky and unintuitive, and even if you can get past that it's just not very fun...

STRAY is one of those games that changes your brain chemistry a little. I started it the moment it finished installing and didn't stop until I finished it. Not even to get a drink or eat or anything. (though that might've been the ADHD...)
Anyway, very good game with a very good soundtrack!

This is without a doubt one of the games I've ever played. It starts off on a main menu that shows the entire map. This map is quite designed. There is a train that runs around the layout that can be boarded as a moving platform. I do wish there weren't as many fatal errors though so I will have to dock some points for that. As a longtime Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fan I can say with 100% certainty that this is not like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon at all in any way whatsoever. The game starts by letting you invite someone from the barren landscape of your STEAM friends list. Upon selecting your opponent you will begin the game. The game then plays like regular chess. That is to say it plays like regular chess after you have taken 23 benadryls. I will not explain what happens when you attempt to attack the opponent's pieces as that is for you to see upon playing FPS Chess. Is this game fun? Yes. Does this game lack any sort of polish whatsoever? Yes. Would I recommend this game? Yes. With only this review I have found myself consistently playing. Why? Because FPS Chess is a game that takes two games to learn and three game to understand. the action is a lot more in line with what I would expect from a real FPS. I would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in the genre of FPS. I would also recommend this game to anyone who is interested in chess. The controls are easy to learn. The only real problem with this game is that you need a powerful PC to run it. In terms of sound quality, you might as well stop reading this review and play the game. Without going too deep into the game, FPS Chess is a game that doesn't hold your hand. The game is all about learning the rules and using your head to figure out how to win from there. Thoroughly enjoyed this game! Everything I want to say about it would require spoiling parts of the story though... :(

Go play it!! I need more people to infodump to, and I want to talk about parts of it so bad!!!!

It's fun, but since online multiplayer is kind of broken it's best experienced on one computer with your opponents in the same room as you.
