I played through the entire game without the tutorial and was confused when I got a bad grade on every mission when I killed everyone except for the civilians. I decided to play the tutorial after my first play-through which clearly says the mission is to keep everyone alive. I then did a second play-through with a beanbag gun which was much more challenging and brought a whole different feel to the game. This is definitely a challenging game at times especially when the AI can see you across the map and shoot through windows, walls, and tiny crevasses. The achievements are also broken when in multiplayer which is frustrating, but I think this game is more fun with friends even though I love achievements.

I find the whimsical atmosphere and clear indie vibes incredibly endearing in Figment. The puzzles and fighting are simple and straightforward. There is plenty of health scattered around the world so the challenge level is low especially because you cannot fall off the plethora of edges. The story is short and sweet. The only frustration for me is the bird friend Piper has an extremely grating voice, but my goodness can she sing well.

This game is so boring I was starting to fall asleep while playing it. It was legitimately making me tired. I love story games and I love achievement hunting and discovering every little detail a game has to offer but when the protagonist walks as fast as a sea slug I do not know the personality that has the patience to play this game. I will say this game is beautiful and brings a unique concept of being a blind child relying on their other senses to navigate their environment. I liked that as her perception changes based on her mishearing a noise the objects around her also change. However, it ends up mostly being a leisurely stroll through a white void of nothingness. I was praying to any god that would listen for me to be walking in the correct direction so that I did not have to walk six years to find the correct path. I cannot recommend this game unless you love the walk part in walking simulator.

This game is definitely a story-rich puzzle game. The visuals are beautiful and the voice acting is phenomenal. I loved feeling like a detective on a mission to find my lost husband.
However, the protagonist Norah is very slow which is frustrating when trying to complete puzzles that are spread apart or looking for secrets. Norah is trying to find her husband and the situation seems dire so she could put some hussle into it. As far as the puzzles go I enjoyed many of them as I like a little brain tickler but others were tedious and challenging and I would have been fine skipping them all together, or at least getting more hints. The story did make me a wee bit emotional. I love a good bittersweet love story call me a sucker for pain. I say pick this game up on a good sale and give it a go.

It seems like a great little free teaser for Life is Strange 2. I would recommend for people who are not sure if they want to play the other games to get a little taste of what they have to offer.

Behind the Frame is a bittersweet and cute little game. The art style is lovely and the puzzles are straightforward and easy to complete. This is more of an emotional story game than anything else. At first, I thought our protagonist was a slightly creepy voyeur who liked to peer into her elderly neighbor's window and draw him while watching him live his life, but really this story is about life, loss, and perhaps missed opportunities.

This is a unique, cute, and relaxing little game where we are unpacking from a move and we move a lot. Luckily unpacking is fun in a video game. We are taken on a journey from being a child decorating our room to becoming an adult having a child and decorating along the way.

This is a very cute little puzzle game. There are some challenging levels, but the puzzles are pretty intuitive so it is nothing you would need a guide for. After completing the game you are able to go back into any of the levels to get the achievements which is great. I did have a small glitch happen twice while playing that the characters were no longer able to move, but restarting the level fixed it both times. It was a bit frustrating to start over, but the levels are not huge so the frustration was mild.

The gameplay is a bit clunky at times and certain parts of the game are hard to know where to go. I do not understand why our investigator carries a camera if it is essentially useless and barely used. He also has incredibly weak ankles even though you can level them up with points. However, the story and challenging moral choices make this game great for me. I like that depending on the choice made the story changes slightly. I also like that the moral choices are not necessarily good versus evil. It is more grey than black and white and sometimes the best choice is up to interpretation. I do think the story could have changed more drastically with the choices as the change is very subtle, but overall I would recommend this game as I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This game is fun and unique with a cute art style that reminds me of Borderlands. It does not have the highest spookiness on the spook scale but some jump scares along the way got me. However, you run so slowly. It's like I am in a life or death situation and instead the character responds like they are taking a leisurely stroll through the park with no sense of urgency.
