Don't let my hours deceive you this idler is very short on content.
The game has some interesting mechanics I really appreciate, but overall the gameplay loop is too underdeveloped to be worth your time even as a holo fan.

EDIT: After releasing the Korone update the game has improved, but the fundamental issue remains that late game all you're doing is waiting. Build variety doesn't really exist when there's clear better and worse card. The new update seemed to try adding more build variety through the horoscope, but the available upgrades fail to give an incentive to change your build - just make your existing one stronger.

TLDR: Fun to waste a few hours, but expect low quality assets. While the studio does have a rough history, other than AI usage I have no qualms with their efforts.

This games demo is a pretty fun idea that ends up quite addicting, especially on harder difficulties, but it comes with quite a few caveats:
1. The games balancing is currently terrible - around half the upgrades and weapons are far too weak so unless you have no choice they're never worth taking.
2. Runs are too random - even though there's influence you are still heavily in the hands of RNG on whether or not you get a good build.
3. Terrible performance with mediocre visuals. Why bother with all this tech to make it look worse?
4. AI usage for almost all 2D artwork along with clearly reused assets which don't quite fit.
5. Terrible audio mixing. Some sounds are deafeningly loud while some important sounds are very quiet.
6. Studio with bad history.

With how addicting this game is, I'm glad it was short.
Fun little idler to give you a dopamine hit for a few hours. Was a little baffled at how quickly it accelerates near the end, made most late game upgrades pointless since you burned through them so fast. Other than that, flawless experience.
100%'d in under 2 hours.

Despite all its flaws it's still my favourite Borderlands game.
I honestly can't think of anything positive to say, I grew up with this game so it might just be my comfort game.

This game has achievements that require you to put in over 8 hours of uninterrupted real world time without being allowed to save.

DO NOT PLAY THE ENHANCED VERSION
It's laggy, buggy and adds unnecessary changes that take away from the original experience imo

I don't know what to say It's more Subnautica.

It is a sequel in terms of story. There's much more to it in this one compared to the first, yet the game is considerably shorter.
Still a really good experience although I felt like the map design was weaker compared to the first one, but also I didn't get lost nearly as much.

Don't know if I'm Subnautica'd out or if this just didn't have the same spark as the first one, either way a really good gaming experience.

This is a very bare bones idle game.
You mostly rely on a fever mechanic to make progress, there is no in-game way to automate fevers so it's really tiring on the fingers. Despite not having that much content the game still is unreasonably slow to complete, progress slows to a crawl in the "late game" which you reach in only a few hours of clicking.

The art and scenes is the only saving grace, but it is by no means worth the 6$ price point.

Very high quality game with good interesting mechanics, but I just can't recommend this one.
The game is very active, yet extremely slow.

While there is no spammable button for progress instead there is boundless demons/undead/etc that you need to spam upgrade. Moments of progress can be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, it's absurd. Playing it passively just isn't rewarding compared to active, but being active is so slow that you feel like you're wasting your own time.

This is a slow game that wants you to play actively - addicting ungratifying time waste.

There's not enough content to warrant the price. 100%-ing an idler in less than an hour is absurd.

I respect the work they've put into this, but I can't bring myself to play this without the ability to mute voices.
I'm here to play Portal not listen to a bad impression of Cave Johnson the audio book.
The real kicker was when they had the audacity to backseat me. I'm playing so I can be satisfied solving puzzles, I don't need your "Oh, hey, have you tried doing this?" Awful, awful, awful. Please never do anything like this in a puzzle game without the option of turning it off.

Risk of Rain 1 is a good game, this remake fixes a lot of things I disliked from 1.

The trials is a new negative addition. Playing it being required for some unlocks is silly, a lot of the trials are not fun.
