Pros: +100s of hours of gameplay which looks great on the eye
+COOP is fun as hell with friends, even randoms in SOS fights are fun to play with as the community is not very toxic
+Amount of content compared to other games + constant updates
+Variation in classes and Builds

Cons: -Connection can disconnect and force you to fight a 4 player monster alone

Worth the money to pay for it compared to most other games of similar price, the game did and still does have some problems, some online connection and lobby issues, but they are rare now we have hit 2019. Epic fights, great visuals and nice customisation in game. Lots of replayability and the game gets harder and harder the more you play (optional of course, you can keep farming armour/weapons) until your ready for the harder fights. Yes there isn't the G rank yet or the amount of content in Generations Ultimate, but this game is the 1st game on PC, they have done better than a lot of AAA titles such as my ex beloved Destiny 2 for one example. And we won't talk about games such as the recent Spiderman and it's 18 hour campaign.

Much better than Hearthstone, nice feel to this game, I can sit and play this without getting bored or annoyed compared to Hearthstone. People complaining about buying packs and because "microtransactions", but you can buy the packs, or buy the cards over steam market, or trade them. Sell the ones you have, trade to friends. All those Hearthstone peeps be mad they have spent 100s on the game and can't sell/trade cards. This game 9/10 for me.

This game was my first PC game I can remember playing at 5 years old. Yep pretty sad to have played it back in 2000 when I was 5. But it is one of the greats in my book because I'm biased. It still have bugs and was broken but thanks to Valve/Steam etc it is now playable on advanced systems like ours today. Buy it, play it. Remeber the old times or discover why Total War became a franchise.

Much better than HOI3 for sure. If you are a HOI fan, buy this, if your into strategy, think about buying it. If your not into strategy, this could be the one that gets you into it. 8.5/10 for me this game.

Games can take a long time to finish and this is one you can go back and keep on trying to finish and still never get all the major nations done.

Best TW game since Shogun 2 for sure. This game has the action packed chaos of a hard campaign and hard battle mechanics (On Very Hard/Legendary) Which I love. There are a few things I would add and change but 9/10 for sure. Many different races makes it funner to learn more and use less copy pasted troop types with different "skins". If you like previous TW games, you should buy this, if you like Warhammer games you should buy this to try out a new series and set of games.

Worth the OG price. DLC is overpriced (cough* wait for sales price)

Only BS I would really say is Public Order being so tough to control in hard difficulties in Very hard/Legendary.

My favourite post Med 2 total war game at the present (Currently at Attila/Arena when I write this review). Eye candy fighting and graphics in game, I mean you can zoom in and see Samurai fighting 1 vs 1 fights it's brilliant. AI or other players don't have an OP unit that's better than all of yours. Due to most units and factions being so similar in this era it's more focussed on player skill and tactics used in battles and on campaign. The campaign is hard and fun if played on one of the highest difficulties, I played on the 2nd hardest, I do need the minimap I have found. The naval battles are not the best, Empire and other TW games Rome 2, Attila... have better naval battles. Though the land and seige battles are fast and fun, it takes a composed commander to win and make the right decisions.

Anyone who is a TW fan and doesn't like it, fair enough, I love the nostalgia and the era. The artwork is great. I played the OG Shogun when I was 5 years old when it came out and have been a TW fan ever since, I'm sad that way, but the nostalgia wins out, with good battles, good graphics and a good campaign. Get this game, it's cheap and easy to learn.

I spent several thousand hours on this game before I even knew what Steam was, this is my favourite Total War game, it is the best Total War game, modding and cheats enhance the game. You can control Europe and fight holy wars, grand scale campaign and seige's are beast. Take it from me, in Scotland there is a claymore waiting for you to handle and take up the fight.

Not the best Total Wars in terms of battles on land, but ship battles and campaigns in this game are amazing.

Console I played this game for too long, even though other games had better graphics, this game drew me in, sucked life out of me and I still to this day go back to play it on console and on this as well.
